Setanta Sports: Joe Accepts Pavlik Fight?

    Hi guys, I was watching Setanta Sports News this afternoon and they said Calzaghe has turned down the chance to fight Roy Jones Jr and will now accept the offer of facing Kelly Pavlik at Super-Middleweight in October. I wouldn't normally believe this talk but the boxing on this channel is basically run by Frank Warren(Joe's promoter) and maybe they have the inside knowledge...we will have to wait and see.

    Still up in the air. I think Warren is using Pavlik to lure Jones back in.

    Should be in UK... impossible to pack a big LV arena due to the US economy and it would pack any UK stadium.

    Buh shouldnt pavlik wina super middle weight title before he faces joe in light heavy. he needs to fight bute!!

    Nah not necersary, Calzaghe - Pavlik will be for the super middleweight title.

    jesus man the economy isn't that bad. Where do you get this ****? We aren't the third world yet.

    Traveling to Wales would be tough for many due to the exchange rate.

    Sounds like it is still speculation. If Joe's ego is as big as I think it is, this fight will happen.
