Setanta Subscibers ????

I don't know, but I am guessing the top 3 viewed fights on setanta so far are:

1. Hatton vs Castillo
2. Calzaghe vs Kessler
3. Haye vs Enzo

 

Calzaghe Vs Hopkins ?

There was about 20 people in my house for the Cotto Vs Marg fight but i think i was only one drinking and watching

 

I'm sure that was popular, but I think the Kessler fight grabbed a lot more of the general publics attention, both unbeaten, both fighting to be recognised as the best in the division. Plus everyone thought the Hopkins fight would be a walk over for Calzaghe.

 

i dont think either cal - kessler or hatton -castillo were on setanta, first one was on sky, second one on itv.
three biggest i would guess would have been
1. calzaghe rjj
2, calzaghe bhop
3. haye mac

 

just under 3mill are able to watch setanta, but they have just over 1mill puying the subsciption fee (£12.99)

they've only ever reached a 1million viewers once (england vs croatia)
i think Haye vs Wlad will be close to a million and maybe more (with new subs) bearing in mind its on at prime time i would expect setanta to get their biggest boxing audience (Calzaghe vs Hopkins half a million at 03:00)

Haye/Barrett did good numbers and actually more then haye/enzo (although that was more due to the time)

 

Calzaghe v Kessler and Hatton v Castillo were both Setanta.

calzaghe vs kessler was picked up last minute by setanta (replayed the next week on the beeb)
hatton vs castillo was their first major fight

biggest figures were Calzaghe vs Hopkins (500,000)
haye vs barrett got bigger figures then haye/enzo (mainly because of the time)

 

its important to note that for the Setanta the audience figures are not as important as they are for terestrial tv or even other satelite channels

whats important is the amount of subs they get
Calzaghe got them a lot of subs

Maybe Froch could have done more to show a personality, i like the blokebut maybe he didn't do enough, such a shame that he isnn't a househod name yet. I just hope it goes well tonight for him. Setanta appear fooked all ends up.

Calzaghe-Kessler was on Setanta pretty much from the start, and they did a lot of promotion for it.

Hatton-Castillo was on Setanta too, I think it was their first "big" fight they ever broadcast.

 

setanta by broadband has changed,it is now quality, much better than before,if you aint already got it, do so, well worth £8.00 a month..
