I think banks is a good fighter, nice fight Mitchell will be tested

Banks has been in the ring with Adamek and Walker

I was also counting on Chagaev, but Banks is still a good option

 

Banks looked far more comfortable against Firtha than Tyson Fury did.
Banks is way too small for HW, but he's a decent B minus level fighter. Better than Guinn who someone else suggested.

 

Banks has better boxing skills than Chazz. Should be an interesting fight.

 

I think of Banks as a poor man's Michael Moorer, but I agree...good test for Mitchell. Banks isn't a mug.

 

When there is talk of Chagaev, off course you have to be disappointed now that Banks is getting the fight. Still think it is a good test for Mitchell. Banks is one who is fighting from outside a lot and he has good speed. Interesting to see how Mitchell will handle him.

 

Good fight. I will be really impressed if Mitchell takes him out early.

Yeah, I like him a lot too. I have some reservations about just how far he can go, but he fights with heart and passion...something all too lacking in the heavyweight scene these days.
I like his dedication and work ethic, and he seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Hard not to like him.

 

Banks is ranked higher than Mitchell so it is very good step in the right direction.

He will make waves if he can win this impressively

 

Don't think this is such a bad fight at all... Seth will surely be the favourite, but Banks can really box, and sparred a lot with the champ.

And he's a "Michigan Warrior" so he should have some support here.

 

Good fight. Banks is decent. People seem keen to throw Mitchell to the wolves, but the guy is a complete novice and needs time to progress. Banks should take Mitchell into the later rounds, which is the key thing for Mitchell now IMO.
