Right now I think all three are at a similar level but I'd rate them-Mitchell, Banks, Walker. I think Mitchell has more upside since he's still learning while Banks and Walker are probably at their peaks now.

Banks was competitive against Adamek, Mitchell was a few seconds away from getting KO'd by a guy nowhere near Adamek's level.

Mitchell may still be learning, but at this moment he isn't as good as Banks.

And Banks is the same age as Mitchell and has only had a few more fights than Mitchell, so Banks is still learning too.

I guess Banks, like any fighter, can still learn a thing or two but I'd say he's a lot closer to a finished product than Mitchell. He's had a lot longer amatuer career, twice as many pro rounds, fought better fighters, and works with the Klitschko's. Mitchell has more to learn than Banks, thats why he has more upside.

Witherspoon did hurt Mitchell but I thought he showed a fighting mentality by coming back and stopping Witherspoon despite being hurt early. Mithchell's chin has been a question for some time so seeing him hurt isn't a huge shock but seeing him handle it well was a big positive for him.

Just because he has more to learn doesn't mean he will. Mitchell is nearly 30 so he can't learn much more than Banks will.

WTF at some of these responses, Banks is a fairly capable fighter, good step up for Mitchell

  12. Good fight. I wanted Arreola to face Banks next on the Lopez-Ortiz undercard.
Banks even has some sort of belt I think it was the NABF title and Seth is gonna take it!
Banks has 5 wins and 1 draw in his last 6 fights and he has 2 stoppages.
    $uper $eth by KO1.

  13. $uper $eth would stop Guinn like he is supposed too. Guinn isn't some Iron chinned great. Boytsov just sucks and can't close the show because he has no heart and gets bored in there. Guinn hasnt been in with many hard punchers except Boytsov anyway which is why he has never been stopped. Mitchell would stop him and he would do it inside of 4 rounds.

Is Banks really that much of a step down from Welliver?

Chauncy gets a bit overrated on ESB.
