with the chin that mitchell has, it's just going to be the same result.

this time he will be stepping into the ring with the guy who just KO'D him, so he's going to look worse. not a good idea.

Seth has no chin! He almost got knocked out by that bum 2 fights ago.. LOL And Banks just knocked him out.. Seth is an average fighter!

I like both guys but I'm worried for Seth now. I'd have to give credit though,it's a G move.

I thought Seth was gonna take it slow fighting guys like "Bachagaloop Jones" with a record of 11-119

He did hurt Banks in round 1 with a right hand, i mean the power and the ability to KO Banks are there

but Banks is savvy and able to counter and box smart and catch Mitchell wide open

Mitchell to me requires more than a few tweaks in his game but may just have enough to land the bomb in a rematch

I like Mitchell, i dont see him as world class but he does a few things right and could be very entertaining if he doesnt keep having these nightmare fights and fade into oblivion

Seth is just making it too easy for me to make money lol...

To answer your question, Seth has too much to learn in too little time for the outcome to be much different. The main question I had going into the first fight was regarding Banks' ability to hurt Mitchell. That question has been answered...

This is the most logical reason for having a rematch. I agree that, mathematically, he CAN beat Banks but how do you see Mitchell improving on this performance? He landed 2-3 hard shots to the head and a BOMB to Banks' body which were promptly shrugged off and countered. Mitchell has serious punch resistance issues that can not be solved overnight so, assuming Banks shows up in the same condition, how can Mitchell win if...

    a) He can't hurt his opponent

    b) He can't take a punch

    c) His opponent lands at will

Now there's always the possibility that other variables come into play. Mitchell could get desperate(as Holyfield did against Bowe in their second fight) and get "creative" with his nutrition to gain an edge. This is the only way that I see the outcome being any different...

When you put it in those terms B.E... I agree! He's average compared to VK and Haye etc... But he could still beat tons of fighters! I should of said he was over hyped by HBO.. :good

Have you forgotten where you are Ears?
You've got one level too many in there as well.

Mitchell, god forbid, may end up as totally awful as somebody as Michael Grant.

You know that guy that didn't lose until fighting the undisputed champion, a HOF fighter and possibly the best of his generation. In a fight where he had a crack at winning and kept getting up.

Surely you know him. That totally **** fighter that in his late 30s is still no easy beat for anyone except the top half dozen fighters in the world.

Mitchell might be as crap as that.

He needs to drop 15 pounds.

Hes too heavy. His height he should come in 230 or so to be quick and lean. Maybe this loss will make him and his team realise that he was in no mans land at 240 / 245 being 6'2. Too small to make the weight count properly and therefore too slow because of this.

I think his movement and punch output would increase a lot. He may lose some strength out of his legs and therefore his chin, but it wasnt that great as a stationary target at this weight.

Mitchell seems to lack good punch resistance... and Banks aint even a big heavyweight, or a big puncher....

Exactly how does anyone expect him to hang with the top HW's?

Is he another lousy product of the Football Factory?

Mitchell could win the rematch, but the fight with Banks proved that anyone at the top ranking will beat him easily.

Rematch will be interesting. What will Mitchell do? Another wild attack and risk getting countered? Or change his style a bit and box from the outside?
