Mitchell is just another Travis Walker. He's a KO waiting to happen.

Boytsov would shatter Mitchell's glass jaw.

I think Seth Mitchell will go farther now. Denis Boytsov had more potential at one time, but likely won't reach it because of injuries and poor management.

Mitchell has the backing of Al Heymon, and with him, HBO and Showtime. Boytsov's promoter has no TV contract and may no longer exist by the end of 2012.

Seth Mitchell is my favorite heavyweight.

He'd shatter Denis Boytsovs protective behind in million little fragments.

  6. Seth Mitchell by far. Mitchell has less fights and is already better and has defeated better opposition. Boytsov doesn't improve from fight to fight and always seems bored in the ring and gives boring performances against bad opposition. Boytsov has no head movement, fights infrequently and has a bad team behind him. The Europeans realize that the trend of boring Euro ****heads ruling the division is over. They are afraid that Seth is coming to kill and HE IS COMING! MAYHEM IS COMING FOR ALL OF YOU!

SETH MAYHEM MITCHELL KO1 DENIS BITCHSOV

I think Mitchell is a flawed fighter who will get exposed dramatically. But in the meantime, he stands an excellent change against slowish, flat-footed guys who stand right in front of him, ready to be hit. Mitchell has pretty good power and his combination punching ability is sophisticated.

I haven't seen the entire Boytsov-Guinn tape yet, but it looks to me as if Boytsov is flat-footed. He can be hit, which means he might lose to Mitchell.

Then again, Boytsov might get his punches off first, and dispose of Mitchell. I don't know.

Boytsovs. They have similar power and who know who has a better chin. Boytsov has the edge on speed and experience. The biggest question is how are his hands. He's had a lot of surgeries on them.

Boytsov has nothing over Mitchell in that area.

Mitchell's biggest win is over Ibragimov. Boytsov's biggest wins are over Guinn and Bydenko.

Thus, Mitchell and Boytsov are roughly equal in terms of the quality of opponents they've beaten. In fact, Ibragimov might be slightly superior to Guinn and Bydenko.

I think Mitchell has superior handspeed.

Boytsov's big advantage over Mitchell is experience. Boytsov at least had a meaningful amateur career. Mitchell only had 9 amateur fights. This means that Boytsov has a better foundation, in terms of how basic skills, movements, etc., have settled in and become second nature to him.

By contrast, Mitchell, because he started boxing late, sometimes looks like a robot.

Just watch Boytsov vs Guinn. I think Boytsov is a more educated boxer and a very good athelete.

  14. Timur Ibragimov *****! He was never stopped until he got in the ring with Mayhem Mitchell!

    Boytsov IMO. Both pretty good.
