Relax... People hyping Mitchell aren't serious. They're just hyping to the detriment of fighters they dislike. Think of it as reverse-hating.

  6. I am a martial artist in boxing and American Kenpo and have been doing it since I was a boy. I'm no world champion obviously but I think I know a thing or two about fighting and fight psychology. Also,I've been watching boxing since the age of 5. Don't make me school you.
Secondly,I have seen all of the top HW prospects from all over the world and Seth Mitchell is for real. In case you didnt notice,HE WON HIS FIGHT LAST NIGHT! All of a sudden you think he sucks because he was hit flush for the first time in his career?
You certainly aren't good at seeing potential or blatant talent. Seth has a decent chin, loads of heart and good power in both hands. When he is a world champion in 2013,I'm gonna ***** slap you so hard, you're only gonna be boxing apples and oranges for the rest of your life.

I'm not writing off Mitchell, he will be in the mix after the K's have hung up the gloves. But right now he would be schooled by several US domestic fighters, among them Arreola, Chambers and Thompson.

that wasnt the first time he got hit flush, in his career...every fight they aired of him, and the ones i saw on cam phone, he gets hit alot by nobodies.. and he nearly buckles every time he gets hit by these nobodies....maybe not against ibragimov, but ibragimov to me was a slouch...with some skill...

Your wrong. He was boxing less than two years before he went to the Olympics and then turned pro right after. All in he boxed for a little less than 6 years TOTAL before he destroyed Joe Frazier in Kingston, Jamaica. Seth Mitchell has been boxing for a little over 8 years now... Including his amateur career.

So you know **** all mate.:good

It's the heavyweight division for crying out loud, anyone that has an interesting/exciting style will easily get attention and it's understandable. The division has nothing better to offer.

I don't think I saw anyone that's not an online troll claim Mitchell is the next champion or would be a serious threat to the Klitschkos.

Mitchell can bring some exciting fights against the likes of Chisora, Haye, Peter(if he ever returns), Povetkin, Arreola and Adamek. Against any of those guys you would have an exciting action-packed heavyweight fight for a change. I don't see why Mitchell deserves any hate or negativity.

I'm pretty sure Wladimir will go for that belt as soon as it's vacant.

You really believe that Mitchell could handle himself against Haye? Uh uh. That fight would be a slaughter. Hayemaker would command the bout from the outside, and knock Mitchell cold with rights.

Mitchell might make exciting fights against the guys on the list, but would probably lose all those matches.

Bull****. Last night was the first time we saw Mitchell seriously hurt. I don't know what films you're watching.

First time Mitchell got rocked was against Ibragimov (head snapped back), but Mitchell didn't appear to be hurt in that fight.

But it really doesn't matter. The established facts are that Mitchell cannot block a right hand, and his durability is now an open question, given that he was badly hurt by a guy with average power.
