    USA vs. UK

Football player with a late start in boxing vs. a decorated amateur.

    Medium-small tank-like HW vs. giant flabby super-heavy

    Power puncher vs. volume puncher

Brought along slow against cans vs. thrown to the wolves early.

    ...

    Unbeaten vs. unbeaten

73% stoppage win rate vs. 73% stoppage win rate

Vulnerable and hurt by domestic level fringe contenders (only to rally back strong) vs. vulnerable and hurt by domestic level fringe contenders (only to rally back strong)

Fury has too much for Mitchell, but it would be an entertaining fight

    Fury on points

Fury wins. Might knock him out.

True, but remember the shaky moments against Rogan...and Firtha...and Pajkic...:think Mitchell is surely a better boxer and harder hitter than any of them, yes?

Then again, remember the shaky moments in the 1st against Witherspoon...:think Fury is surely a better boxer and harder hitter (and just physically bigger man, which seemed to be much of the problem for Seth) than Chazz...

Here's my thought process on this one:

Fury has spent his whole career bar the last fight training in a barn & eating junk food. He had all sorts of personal problems during the Firtha-Pajkic fights & he still managed to win.

I like Mitchell but he's a manufactured fighter, Fury has a lot more potential imo

Admittedly nowhere near the degree that Pajkic or Firtha had him in trouble, in fact it wasn't even trouble per se, but Rogie did land some very solid rights on him early on as Fury took several minutes to adapt himself to fighting southpaw.

Don't think I've heard Fury described as a volume puncher before

Still, good match up. Only seen Mitchell in his previous fight with Ibragmovic or whatever he's called. I was impressed. Id say Mitchells best bet would be to go for the early stoppage, if it goes past round 6 Fury takes it (by stoppage)

Well, combo-slaps as opposed to single turned-over bombs as someone like Mitchell would load up on.

I do think Tyson has the higher general work rate than Seth, and would bet the statistical data bears that out..

Firtha clipped him once, Wouldnt exaggerate that. Rogan did too a couple times but the most shocking thing about that one was Rogan outboxing him 1-3 or so. Neven is the one who could have, and arguably should have beat him by KO and knocked him down.

Mitchells chin his questionable but I think he can survive better and has more power and skill then Neven, Rogan, Firtha combined. Mitchell I Pick.

I've got this a 55-45 fight in Mitchell's favour. :good

Mitchell by KO/TKO in rounds 3-5, or Fury by TKO in rounds 10-12.

It would be a superbly exciting battle while it lasted, that's for sure.

I'd absolutely love to see this fight happen in the MEN Arena in Manchester, i'd drive down for it.
