How could he not> The guy has every quality necessary to rid us of the Klitschko's and bring legitmacy and excitement back to boxing's showcase division.

I mean, he is an African American and he played American Football. What more credentials could anyone ever need? Those two qualifications automatically make him an athletic freak that will automatically translate into boxing dominance.

Do not get me wrong, I am not entirely sack swinging on the mighty Seth Mitchell. I must ask myself what will happen after he becomes a dominant champion. Will the same posters and boxing scribes still claim that other African Americans who are better football players would invaribly have beaten Seth if they only chose boxing instead of football or basketball?

I mean Ray Lewis and Lebron James are bigger and better athletes so they would automatically have beaten Seth, RIGHT???

Just think about all the African Americans who have been wrongfully imprisoned by evil White Republicans and their racist drug enforcement laws that pander to Middle America and it truly staggers ones comprehension of how much potential African American talent gets taken away from a sport that is their God given birth right to dominate.

In conclusion I would like to dedicate this thread to ESB's three greatest authorites on heavyweight boxing.

    Conraddumbler
    Hoepeth
    The Hall Monitor(JASPER)

They have forgotten more agbout heavyweight boxing than all Klitschko fans will ever know, combined!!!

I hope..lol but he does look promising. I don't know about dominating but with his style and power, he looks like he can at least get to the Klitschkos for a title shot. You can tell this dude means business every time he fights.

I think Golden Boy pulled an F-up putting him in with Timor Ibragimov this early. They didn't even do a gradual step up in competition. He's going from fighting wild swinging novices to someone who knows what their doing. His size and natural ability might get him through, but Timor should be considered the favorite here. I swear GB has some stupid FFing match makers, like their people don't do any homework.

Timor lost to a blown up, past it Mormeck. Granted it was close and controversial, but he should have beaten him convincingly. Mitchell just might flat out wipe the floor with this dude. Even back when he fought Brock, i seen literally nothing in him. Its good match making IMO.

:huh Why wasn't his slickness mentioned?

All jokes aside I hope he does go places because it may stop the bitchiness from SOME yanks on here with no-one local to support.

TS post a video of Seth Mitchell.

I have been waiting for a great black hope. Has he finally arrived or is he just a great athlete?

Mitchell is a beast and im hoping he isnt a flop . But simmer down man. Lets see how he does vs ibragimov. If he struggles bad then his stock drops but i smell a brutal stoopage and ebs will jump on yhe band wagon like they do.

Stepping up more than boystov has done in 29 fights. Putting him to shame

Black American and he plays football????!?!?? GOAT!

  12. Out of every young fighter out there,he looks better in terms of consistently coming in shape and having boxing skill. He has power too but his boxing skill is real good. I already think him as a better boxer than someone like Helenius and Povetkin.

Do you realize that Mitchell has been fighting for only five years? And that includes his nine -- that's right, just nine -- amateur fights. Also, do you realize what happened to Mitchell when he fought Zack Page a couple years ago? I notice that fight doesn't get publicized.

I agree with you there. Credit to Mitchell for stepping up like this. He's not going to settle for being a hype...he wants to prove himself immediately or not waste time. We should respect a prospect with an attitude like that.

The Ibragimov fight will tell us a lot about Mitchell. He could turn out to be legitimate: a lot like the young Hasim Rahman. Or, Mitchell could turn out to be like Cliff Ettiene and Derrik Jefferson: overhyped TV products who failed as soon as they stepped it up in class.

Nah, he needs to have done a stretch in prison to be considered the GOAT.

Eddie Chambers crushes Mitchell needless to say.
