Lol..Ok, so you no longer give the AP, ESPN, box scene, fox sports, USA Today or any other news agency that I'm aware of, outside of apparantly "SKY" which I assume is a European news agency any credibility...cool got it.

Most people on boxing forums had Kotelnik winning. All boxing fans that did a post fight on youtube thought that Kotelnik was robbed and that he clearly won.

Dude you can save all the ****ing insults and "you are smarter than everyone else" bull****. The bottom line the kid worked harder and did enough to win the fight. You call the kid a fraud, I guess that was the first thing that popped into your head, he is a fighter and he did the best he could and to those that matter it was enough, so God Damn sorry it didn't live up to your expectations.

The overwhelming majority of those "scoring" the fight and do so as a means of supporting their livlihood had Alexander winning the fight. You come in here as if your word is the ultimate say and that anything outside of that is irrelevant. You state "everybody" saw him lose and that we all know the deal, that is one thing you are right about, I do know the deal which is that the kid gutted out a hard faught decision, period. Why you see the need to insult him or anyone that sees things different than you is beyond me. If you want to disagree fine, you want to debate cool, but as far as your arrogant proclamations of unquestioned truth, please STFU.

Obviously you are the one with the emotional attachment and bias. I'm telling you I think the kid won the fight, point blank, I had it 115-113. Every major news outlet that I'm aware of (I believe the last count was 21) had him winning the fight, but you want to come on insulting other grown men who disagree with you on the outcome of a close fight, that's non sense. I'm not trying to be a dick about it, but I just don't see why it would be necessary to try and make it a personal deal. For the record I'm white and from the South, that being said I don't understand your point in reference to race, maybe there were some posts I missed and I will clarify after I'm finished. If the implication is that those that feel Alexander won the fight are black and do because he is also black, I think you are mistaken, as obviously the majority of the media that covered the fight are white middle aged males.

Nah dawg the measure of a winner in a professional prize fight, is what the three judges ringside say, obviously you are the one searching for spin. In terms of reality, and what HAPPENED it is clear and no spin is needed, In terms of theory and opinion and/or WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED that is a world in which "spin" is imperative.

+1. I had Dirrell-Froch by Dirrell for a couple rounds, for fair disclosure. I thought this fight was even more clear cut than that one.

The biggest difference I've seen? When the US fighter with backing gets jobbed, the media here isn't afraid to speak up about it. When a foreign fighter, a guy without a fanbase, or without promotional/media hype gets worked over, it's just swept under the rug like it's yesterday's news. Business as usual.

The same outlets talking about Alexander having an easy night and winning clearly today were the same ones talking about him as the next P4P superstar before the fight. With that much investment and cash wrapped up in building Alexander, why on earth would the media give Kotelnik a fair shake?

I'm relieved that most fans are able to look past that, even if the powers that be will do their best to put this fight out of everyone's mind as quickly as possible.

    1. I never said I was smarter or any **** like that. In these eyes, I know who won the fight, regardless of what the judges say. I saw the fight with my own two ****in eyes, whatever the **** Lederman says doesn't mean **** to what I saw. "He did enough to win."-Well, to me, no the **** he didn't. He didn't land many, if any clean and significant punches. I don't care what the punch stats and power punch totals say, I saw Kotelnik repeatedly land clean and effective shots on te dude, and all he did in return was fire away on guy's gloves. That, to me, isn't doing what it takes to win. Froch's fanboys say the same ****, but the fact is, it was a BOXING match, not a punch marathon. I don't claim to be a better or more knowledgeable poster than anyone here, ****, probably a lot less so than some, but my eyes tell me what they tell me, and they are unbiased and score every fight I watch the same way.

    2. These guys that support their livlihood as you say, well, some are journalists whose credentials started in an Ivy League classroom writing book reports, not fighting in a ring. If some people saw the fight differently than me, well **** it, so be it, and that is fine. But if you score two fights that were very similar two different ways, ***** about one guy losing and ***** about how the other won, well then you are obviously a biased ****ing snake. One of the posters this morning made a fight analysis of the fight he saw, and also gave his list of how he scores a fight. The guy was unbiased in his review for this fight and that is how he sees the fights, regardless of who he likes. That is a respectable analysis, and he graded other close fights in a similar fashion, but many other posters switch up how they score a fight to coincide with who they wanted to win. That is bull**** fanboy cum drinking junk. It's biased, fruity, and it takes the deserved props away from both fighters.

    3. Congrats for your 115-113 scoring. I had it 116-112 for Kotelnik. Obviously throwing an ass ton of punches, even if not effective or accurate, is key to you, I'm not gonna knock that, thats just how you see it. Other posters on here, and say whatever the hell you want, will skew their scoring in favor of a fighter of their race/nationality, whatever. Completely biased, and that is bull****. **** those people, and just as I called out DA, they say worse about many other fighters, so cry to someone else. "I'm white and from the south", I mean, I could care less if your ****ing purple and from the north, score the ****ing fights fairly, and if you do, well then those posts weren't aimed at you and you don't need to take offense. Those biased posters are always changing how they score a fight to make it seem like their fighter won, that is nuthugging and dicksucking like a mother****er.

If your gonna score a fight, score them all with the same ****ing criteria. The majority of these posters don't ****ing do that.

Similar fights Pistal47 Calz-BHop- I thought it should have been a draw( Manyof the same biased posters here will cry bull**** Calz won, and maybe they are right in their eyes, to me neither deserved the win, but they all say BHop because he landed the cleaner shots, and his face was completely unharmed afterwards, and these same ignorant biased posters pull the 180 on this fight)

Dirrell-Froch- Dirrell embarressed him(This fight was the most similar, and here is where you will find the biased nuthugging jackasses justifying why Dirrell won, and then pulling a 180 and scoring totally different for this fight)

So I don't give a **** what you saw, but as long as you stay with that scoring criteria, then good on you, but if you switch it up like all these other posters, then you are just as shitty.

BTW, Alexander, to me is a complete hypejob. He couldn't adapt to a very basic fighter and got the **** timed out of him all night. He had so many advantages and didn't take advantage of one of them, and the whole fight his corner is giving him good advice and instead he goes out and does the same **** round after round. On this fight, I don't think he is going far at all, and he WAS totally overhyped before the fight, and I will admit, I was someone who definitely overhyped him.

Exactly, couldn't have said it better. I don't care what the judges verdict was in the Croch-Dirrell fight, I had Dirrell and I am sticking with it.

****, didn't mean to quote both.

It feels like the entire boxing community has some kind of organized consipracy against the fans.

Despite all the biased commentating for Alexander all night, almost every boxing message board I have seen sinc elast night a great majority had Kotelnik winning by a large margin.

The reason fans can't be reliable on certain fights is because of prejudice, nationality, styles, the way a fighter looks, attitude, height and other preference. Some of these sources been covering boxing since the days of a young Ali a couple since the days of SRR.But most since the 80's and several since the 90's.

I'm sure all Ukrainian/Russian sources have Kotelnik winning that fight as USA' sources claiming Devon won it. So what now? We all have our own eyes and know who is the real winner.

Nah, journalists can't be biased, inept, or a combination of both. It's never happened that they've either pushed an agenda or flat out made **** up before, impossible. It's also impossible for cards to be rigged, even in the Olympics, or Vegas or anywhere. Just ask Floyd or RJJ about that one.

dude your an idiot, calling Kotelnik a basic fighter, the guy was a silver medalist in the olympics and beat Maidana, alexander had one bad night but he still won barely. I am not biased, I am not an Alexander fan at all, I am unbiased when I score fights and I had that 115-113. I also had the Froch/Dirrell fight a draw because both fighters were pathetic in that fight and didn't deserve the win.

:lol:Fraudley won a gold dip****, he isn't even good enough to be a basic fighter:lol: Shut the **** up you lame *******

Maidana, as I am sure you know, isn't the most skilled fighter, he is a brawler with a lot of power. Kotelnik has a GREAT chin and won a split decision against him. HE IS A BASIC FIGHTER WITH A HIGH GUARD AND GREAT CHIN. The only other attribute he has that is elite or close to elite is timing.

This isn't a guy with Abraham power, who also fights with a high guard, DA could have been banging away at the body dismantling this guy all night, and bringing that guard down, but instead he just flicked the same punches over and over into dudes guard. He got walked down by a slow footed fighter who doesn't have very good footwork, and counterpunched and timed all night. AK IS ****ING BASIC. Shithead.
