I still can't believe that a super gassed out cotto was never hurt in those 12 Rds with trout who held such a huge weight and size advantage, , and mayweather almost had cotto out in rd 12 and cotto was hurt and backpedaling with those sick ass right hooks from May, I guess maybe its true what mosely said canelo and may hit the same lol

The issue here is Canelo's lack of slickness. He has little defense for a right hand. Trout is going to be busting out southpaw jabs on him.

Be serious you're a Canelo fan talking about gas. The boy has to pace himself and wait for his little energy meter to go back up before he can fire off more.

On top of having suspect stamina Canelo will have to chase Trout around the ring. Then Trout will use his bigger and taller body in the clinches to lean onto Canelo, forcing Canelo to support his body weight.

Canelo has hand speed and power, but he gave up the traditional Mexican gifts of stamina and durability for it. I'm not sure how great his chin is either.

Better than Fish... Bet on that.
But anyway, I hope GBP's do this fight for Canelo.

Great showcase for Canelo, Might work out better than beating Cotto in the long run. Make it happen GBP.
    (I beg you)

Durability doesn't weigh as heavily when it's not apart of your style to get hit and trade.

Are you trying to be serious while taking about energy meters? Lol! This ain't a game, and idk where you recycled that comment from probably bball as he is the one who used those words first, which shows Ur just copying what gets posted on ESB. But yeah, when canelobis resetting as he is a mid range guy trout himself is gonna be in defense mode so Ur whole energy meter is moot as trout will not capitalise on it as no one has, those big power shots to the body is something u should be worried about not counting on energy meters to not be full lmao, and so called no defense.

  7. Canelo by brutal KO.
Hardest fights for Canelo at 154 are either May Jr. or Sexy.
    Happy new year:good

why wouldn't Trout try to hit Canelobis as he's resetting? That's one of the prime times to strike.:huh

Because he will be to gunshy to try when he feels that power same with delvin and cotto.. he's very skiddish if he thinks he can get hurt, his low output will hurt him.

Yeah he doent mind getting hit, to set up something huge but it doesn't mean hes careless he loves mid range and shooting in, then counter punch mode or u say resetting meter.

Trout has a a great left hand to the body and a good right hook and a solid jab. Canelo has some nice pull counter right hands, a solid jab and a great left hook to the body. Canelo lacks head movement big time so the jab may be a problem for him. However Cotto was trying to parry Trouts jab and slap it down but wasnt able to pull it off. Canelo will time it and counter the jab with his right hand, pull counter as i mentioned plus he has a more authoritive jab of his own with equal reach which Cotto didnt have.

I see Canelo showing a lot of different styles, starting slow, measuring Trout, followed by applying pressure and combinations to command the rds and force Trout to be more aggressive and open up. Canelo is a good counter puncher and should be able to do what he wants. Trout will have to take a lot of risks to get to the body and frankly, the left to the body is his best punch along with his jab which can both be countered by Canelos right hand. I def see a dominant victory for Canelo

Trout will not be running around the ring in all 12th round. Canelo will catch up on the inside. If coto can go on the inside pretty easy then what makes you think canelo cant? Canelo is far bigger in body size then Cotto and has a better pop at 154 pounds then Cotto.

Canelo doesn't fight on the inside and prefers another range as our good friend doc pointed out.
Canelo would be wise to avoid the inside where Trout will clinch, lean on him, and sap his energy in the process.

Cotto has better craft than Canelo, but he wasn't able to keep Trout on the inside. The jabs and straight lefts to the body were too much.

Left to the body will mess up Canelo's stamina and make his already slow foot speed even slower, increasing his struggle to catch Trout.

Then Trout will lay back and box a conservative fight sort of like Ali: jab, jab, jab, and boom drop the straight.

if they fought it would be great. Trout could surprise Canelo and maybe outbox him.
