The ref was somewhat incompetant but no major complaints, but I imagine Rogan is feeling hard done by.

Rogan made an amateurish mistake and it cost him - he only has himself to blame really. Sexton was winning the fight in my opinion and almost had Rogan out of there.

 

It's easy to say that, but what would you have said if Sexton was being truthful and the towel had come in, and Rogan had battered his skull in and done him an injury?

 

Let's be honest, if Rogan wasn't Irish you wouldn't give a ****. About 75% of your posts have the whining tone of someone with a chip on their shoulder.
He should get a rematch, if he doesn't he will get plenty of other fights and chances to carry on his career. Boxing is a joke sometimes and it is infuriating, but if you could turn your back on the sport due to one fight then you weren't much of a fan in the first place.

 

Sexton should have been stopped imo. Dave Paris was an arsehole too, he kept stopping the action in that last round when Rogan was on the verge of KOing him.

It looked like they wanted Sexton to win the fight. Sexton looked out of it with his hands at his sides, Rogan did not hit him because he wasn't defending himself, then Sexton just hit him. So disappointed for Rogan.
There should be an immediate rematch.

 

Was that an attempt at humour? Awful. I'd be fairly confident I know a lot more about boxing than you do. Nor was my post directed at you, but presumably because it mentioned an Irish poster in a less than positive light you took it as a slight simply because you also happen to be Irish.
