I think Gethin is a tad over-rated.... beating Siddique is hardly impressive and Fewkes was unwell before their fight.
I watched watson in his last fight at the o2,he was looking like a good prospect.He give and took some good punches against a tough african.Joe mcnally looked best out of the two liverpudlian lads that night.
What have you heard? He's supposed to b very good, I know that much. Never actually watched him before though.
Already Gethin's become an opponent? Good matchmaking from Hayemaker as Gethin was on form before the defeat to Lawton.
This will be a great fight for John. He gets to test himself against a very good domestic opponent who has beaten unbeaten fighters in the past, and has title aspirations of his own. Before Watson gets to Championship fights, he needs fights like this to bridge the gap in my opinion. Looks an even money fight, but obviously i'm very confident that John's style and ability will shine through.
