Yea I don't care where a fighter's from if he beating the best like he did with Williams who everyone avoided at the time plus puts on exciting fights like Sergio does you wanna see that fighter do great and get what he deserve. Manny and Floyd were chicken**** of Williams even did ko of the year on him. Martinez vs Mayweather would be todays version of Hagler-Leonard. The respect Floyd had lost thru the yrs he'd gain back and no one could knock him on that. Even Oscar challenged Hopkins whether Floyd faces Pacquiao or not he has to face Sergio now too. The world demands both these 2 superfights.

I doubt Mayweahter really wants to fight Martinez. Mayweather is just saying things again because that is what his fans want to hear.

I want to see Chavez Jr/Martinez damn it! Lee is the one fighter I think can beat Martinez for some reason. I think Lee and Manny both have figured out Martinez and can come up with a good game plan to beat Martinez. That is the one fight (IMO) I don't want Martinez to take. ****, I prefer Pirog over Lee. Again that is just me, some think Lee would be a walk in the park for Martinez.

 

I cant believe Manny. A small welterweight who enters the ring around 150 lbs wont fight the middleweight champion of the World!!!

Thats the problem with boxing now, if they are not Americans, Mexicans, Puerto Ricans and now recently from the Phillipenes you will not be on the boxing "A" list because you don't have any "fan base". The rest are just filler ups like Maidana (vs Ortiz) and Martinez (vs Pavlik and Williams) were suppose to be. If they get the upset ala Pirog they try to disappear them from the media ASAP because they can't make more money with them. But it ****ing sucks because we as fans want the best not the most popular or of our backgrounds wether it be Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Phillipinos, or Americans.

 

Hahaha! I think I am the only one on this forum who thinks that Lee beats Martinez thats all.

 

Martinez won't go down to 154lbs as stated by Dibella. The only way he can go to 154lbs is for Mayweather/Cotto. Unless in the coming weeks we hear otherwise then yes, Martinez has more options at 154lbs.
