    Who wins?

Both legit champions so it'd be unfair to ask either to go to the others weight division. Slap bang in the middle, who wins and how?

i think canelo stops sergio at this point. i didnt like how vulnerable sergio looked in his last fight. he was geting hit easily by the same punch that put trout on roller skates. sergio doesnt have the reflexes to be effective with his style anymore... not against guys like canelo.

Pre-Murray I'd of said Martinez on points, but post-Murray I'm saying Canelo KO in the mid rounds. Martinez seems to have gotten old over night. I like the fight though.

    :deal

Sergio's age has finally caught up with him. He's declining fast. Canelo, on the other hand, is looking better with each fight. Canelo stops him.

Canelo doesn't need a catchweight, he's coming into the ring at 170+ ffs

A prime Sergio would have stopped him inside of 8.

probably, but who knows what level canelo has yet to reach. one thing is certain, canelo is a better fighter than sergio was at 22.

Thing about Sergio is I think he believes in his own awkwardness too much, it worked against Chavez but Murray was not having it
He said he doesnt spar that much so he thinks his awkwardness will help him not need to punch as much but he's starting to get found out
I think he needs to go back to the drawing board type thing and fix his style a bit

Well no **** he started at 21. If Sergio would have started boxing the same time as canelo he would have been a top 5 mw all time.

based on what? are you even familiar with what the goat midleweights have actually achieved? sergio looked very good for a while but get a hold of yourself. sergio had a very good career and you can offer all kinds of reasoning why he didnt become top 5, but the fact is, he didnt.
