This is a weight that never saw a lot of great champions. But, the four names above most definately were the most talented to ever step foot in this particular weight class. With no further ado, at their peaks who takes home the tournament trophy and sits on top the superfeather throne?? The choses are: Arguello that went to war with Escalera during the late 70's, the Azumah Nelson that knocked out Gomez, the Chavez that walked through Martinez, and the Floyd that destroyed Corrales.
Mayweather would come out on top IMO. Chavez had not yet fully peaked while at 130, Nelson, as well rounded as he was, could be outboxed and was a bit rough around the edges and slow of foot, and Arguello's biggest stylistic challenge was always the slick boxers. Over 15, it's a possibility that Arguello, a pinpoint puncher with tremendous power, could stop Floyd late, but I don't think there is anything to suggest that Mayweather gets stopped in that one. All close fights, Mayweather comes out on top.
