    Round 1 McCormack 10-9, close

Walker marching forward behind a tight hgh guard, picking and pecking away with a short hard little jab, occasionally digging downstairs with hooks to the body, tosses in hooks to the head as well, Pat already has reddening around his left eye. But he managed to sneak in several heavy uppercuts, hooks to the body and hooks around the guard to nick a tight opener.

While the flashier work was done by Pat, the high guard of Conah is so tight, very little is getting through, most of the body punches are being caught on the arms, while Conah is parrying or blocking most of Pat's work up top, Walker's tenacious rhythm and persistent short compact snappy jab was more effective, ushering Pat all around the ring.

The pace that Conah s setting is suffocating an his work with the jab is magnificent, still blocking much of Pat's work early, but as the round progressed, Pat started looping his hook around the guard and managed to land several eye catching flush straight rights. Conah also walked onto a few uppercuts.

I really hate to say this, but Sunny Edwards has found his true calling, he's solid on commentary.

Splendid round from from Walker, Pat tossing out the jab and looping in rights, but they're being picked off with relative ease now by Walker, who is cutting the distance immaculately, always in his face, pumping out a metronomic jab incessantly, and he's always in range to land it, now he's arching his right cross over the top of Pat's jab and landing it with more and more frequency.

Walker's most dominant round of the fight, Pat boxing well early, with a ton of lateral movement, looping in punches from the side, then Walker catches him with a short vicious left hook to the ribs, which cuses Pat to wince in pain and immediately go into retreat. Walker relentlessly marching forward battering him with constant jabs, cornes him and lands a nasty right cross and one to flush. Pat in retreat the rest of the round.

Great round for both men, but Conah took a little too much damage to win that, Pat with constant lateral movement controlled range with his jab well and was landing flashy one twos around the high guard, which wasn't quite as tight. Also Walker, whose upper body and head movement up until now has been on point, wet on walkabout that round. Although he closed trong with several straight rights and right hooks.

Walker setting a blistering pace early on, his tight is water tight again, constant pressure, looping in overhand rights, now Pat as a cut on his left eye. He's coming unglued, he looks frantic and a little scared. Not defending nearly as well. Walker with non stop jabs and short hooks while in close. Pat manages to steady the ship late, and lands a few good one twos, but Walker fires off several of his own, taking momentum back.

Tony Bellew has Pat up by two, that Usyk KO really took a toll.

Conah looking a little tired and unfocused, following instead of cutting off the ring, Pat is far more mobile. Still Conah landing the jab with ease. But down the stretch Pat lands several eye catching one twos around Conah's loose high guard, and whipped in a few hooks to the body as well.

Walker has taken his foot off the gas a little, he might be pacing himself, Pat picking him off for the first two minute, Conah landing occasional jabs. Then Conah amps up the pace and pressure, lands several hard hooks to the head, Pat holds. Then Pat bites down on his gumshield and stands his ground, firing off a series of one twos, some nasty uppercuts, a few of which stop Conah in his tracks, Conah throws himself into a vicious looping right hook to the body, barely notices.

Yeah... Conah was pacing himself, he comes out in the 10th setting a ferocious pace, getting in close working behind the jab, then clipping him with left hooks when he attempts to exit. Sometimes double and tripling it up. Then when Pat isn't suspecting it, he catches him with a right cross. Pat looking very uncomfortable, he almost turns his back completely, looking at the mat, losing the plot now. Conah on him like a feral rat, hammering him all over, clips him with a hook to the body, Pat is hurt again, almost dragging himself along the ropes. Desperately wants the bell to sound.
