It would definitely be his best win, I think, but Shakur thinks it elevates him above Inoue and Bam. The conversation starts at 49:00. He's probably closer to Bam if he beats Teo, but I don't see the Inoue argument at all. It's not quite the same as when he disrespected Sugar Ray Robinson, but it was the main part of the interview that stood out to me.

Teo was a massive weight bully and huge puncher at 135 and his greatest win was against a much smaller tiny 135 blown up 126 pounder who hadn't fought in 14 months and was injured.

Teo lost the belts in his very first defence to a fighter who has lost to every other world class or elite fighter they've fought and at 140 Teo should have 2 losses: Martin and Ortiz. He should have 3 losses all of which in his backyard to fighters his size in his 1st or 2nd division

Yes he beat Taylor but, again, Taylor was coming off 16 months of inactivity, multiple injuries, an unofficial loss in his previous fight, should be 0-4 in his last 4 fights including the Teo loss, and who like Loma fought him in his backyard on a deck stacked against him, and supposedly isn't and never was very good according to many so how can beating that version of Taylor mean so much?

And Shakur is at worst the same size as Teo not much smaller.

Shakur is good but not close to Inoue imo. Better defensively but Inoue better at everything else.

Would be a good win, but Usyk, Inoue, and Bivol are the 3 best in the sport.

Yes mate it’s a bit disrespectful that Bivol gets overlooked in this conversation.

I don't think it's enough to get Shakur above Inoue, but it would be the best win either of them have for sure. A good win against Teo should take Shakur to #5 IMO after Inoue, Usyk, Bivol, Bam and just ahead of Bertebiev

Social media age mentality - just like the Ray Robinson comments.

I think He would have single best individual win between the two if that happens - but what Stevenson probably doesn't realise is that Inoue was beating World Class fighters in the pros when Shakur was still competing in Youth tournaments in the amateurs. He has some catching up to do.

I don’t care how many wins he gets you can never be PFP#1 if you can’t fight on the front foot at ALL.
