He put his heart into winning the biggest international Tournament in the world, The Olympics. No shame in feeling down, or shedding some tears when you lose in front of the world. But look where's he's at now, he's regarded by many as the best lightweight in the world.
Yep but the usuals will give Loma grief for crying after a blatant robbery but when Shakur’s ugly mug cries it’s crickets
This content is protected There is 100% crying in boxing. This being the most famous example but Douglas crying during his post fight interview for the Tyson fight almost made me tear up. This weird stigma around men showing basic human emotions does more harm than good. I'll stop there to avoid going off topic.
Exactly. I have a feeling he's referring to the ones who are afraid to take a real challenge and be put into a position where what Shakur experienced could happen. Like Tank.
Not a great look for a boxer but he was just a kid who had seen a dream he'd probably been working towards for years fail to materialize. He's a human being after all and people go threw ****. So I'll give him some slack for crying on camera. But he's done worse things on camera than cry, we all know that.
Shakur needs to take a good look at Demetrius Andrade’s career and reconsider some of the things he’s been doing. A lot don’t remember but he turned down Josh Warrington twice because the money wasn’t enough and he didn’t want to travel to the Uk. Saying 25% isn’t enough for an undisputed title shot when the current champion took 25% and traveled to Australia twice to get the belts is a duck.
Depends what it’s 25% of. Haney made nearly 3mil in the first Kambosos fight and about 10mil for the rematch, reportedly. People arbitrarily applying splits and percentages everywhere seems cool, but means nothing unless you know the pot.
