They're not even in the same division and I doubt Garcia would go down to 135 again after the beating Tank put on him.

If it happened, Stevenson would school him worse than Tank did. Horrible style match up for Garcia again. Shakur like Tank is a counter puncher and Garcia only knows how to lead, we saw how that style match up failed Garcia last time, he'd play right into Shakur's counter punching style.

I also think Shakur is looking at more legitimate fighters like Loma and Haney not fringe contenders like Garcia.

 

There are definitely guys at 130 who hit harder than Shakur, but he managed to put Valdez Jr on the canvas twice. Which is two more times than Navarrette managed to do if you are keeping score.

So he's not exactly Chris Colbert, either.

I can definitely see Navarrete's rangey jab being a big problem for Shakur. Would be a big problem for SS to get within range to set up counters. Tough fight for SS.
