Shakur Stevenson going on a rant against Tim Bradley

Declaring that Robinson was “buns” and that boxing has advanced since his day is certainly a take, I know he’s entitled to his opinion and knows more about boxing than 99% of the planet ever will but that seemed ill advised. Regarding Bradley, I also think he’s a sort of borderline case for hall of fame but I am not against his inclusion as lesser accomplished fighters have been put in there. He was a very good fighter and always up and around the pound for pound list. Probably suffered from the whole top rank/haymon stable divide later in his career but got some great wins. Even though he never beat Pac-Man he gave an atg three good fights. Everything Bradley responded with is acceptable. I didn’t put people to sleep but I didn’t put people to sleep is a great burn. Stevenson is an elite fighter but he is quite dislikable sometimes and has a conflicting style you can appreciate but wish he pushed harder for the spectacular.

 

This little clown has never fought anyone on the level of Bradley's opponents. He also would have ducked Bradley had they been in their primes together.

 

Bradley looks like he never left 147, that dude was always ripped and ready to throw down, never came in anything less than tip top shape.

 

He was definitely pretty noticeably chubby at one point post retirement, and I believe competed up to 165 as an amateur.

 

yeah I noticed he sometimes carried a bit of weight when out of camp and retired but when he decides to get back in the gym he certainly gets rid of it. Looks exactly the same as if he were fighting still so he still keeps himself well. I remember Porter fought Usyk in the amateurs too
