Until then let's stop with premature adulations.

    Laughable
Had he beaten Linares people like you would discredit it by calling Linares a C level fighter

You give Usyk too much credit for doing whats necessary to make money

If he could headline in Ukraine and sell out a 100K stadium in Ukraine hed do it

The same goes for the reverse

If Ward, Mayweather, Shakur, Teofimo Lopez and others had to go to other places theyd do it

You put way too much stock into fighters (who do it out of desperation) fighting on away soil

Of course in a perfect world youd have boxers fight on a neutral site with a neutral ref and neutral judging

Unfortunately, thats not how things work

The idea that this should be a significant factor in evaluating boxers is a stretch to me

Its Lomachenkos fault that he took so long to turn pro. Shouldnt have had 400 amateur fights. Oh well.

Fighting for a world title in your 2nd and 3rd fight when you are 26 is not so fire

Age of the fighter when they won their first world title
    Shakur Stevenson 22
    Vasyl Lomachenko 26

Lomachenko shoudlve turned pro earlier and he wouldve had a better career

He was wasting his time in the amatuers

No one in the real world cares about it. Few in boxing do. Maybe a few on this forum but not really.

I guess its possible. I just cant give him credit for something he didnt do.

Its not even a situation where a fighter was ducked so I can at least somewhat give them credit for being ducked (which shows their greatness somewhat)

In this case Lomachenko was literally not a pro

Cant give him credit for being an amatuer and not turning pro

Thats just bad management and career planning

Shakur will most likely end his career having accomplished more than Lomachenko (pro not that amatuer garbage)
    It is what it is.

Hes still an ATG when you provide context of his career like you did (hes far better than the 18-3 record)

I too had thought Lomachenko would end up being the best boxer of this era. It didnt happen.

    Its life

Nah cant wait because it can be like a Benavidez vs Canelo situation where one guy ducks the other for so long and possibly forever

Size is not why Bivol beat Canelo. It was skill.

Bivol is a small light heavyweight. He was 183 lbs on fight night, compared bout Berlanga's 193 fight night weight against Canelo. He even offered to fight Canelo at 168, which Canelo didn't take.

Canelo was also a 5-1 favorite, almost like Stevenson was a 6-1 favorite against Zepeda.

Canelo has a bad gas tank at 175

    Odds dont matter

The odds were that way because most didnt even know who Bivol was

Everyone's gas tank fades when they're forced to work harder, and get punched in the face.

Canelo already has a bad tank at SMW and a really bad one at LHW
Even vs Kovalev he had a low output

Great win for Bivol but it has gotten very overrated over time
