They clearly watched the match closer than you did. Either that or this whole thread is just a denial rooted coping mechanism by you. Proof in the pudding being the 10-2 score which is a abomination handed out by know nothing weaselly fanboys, Shakur edged the fight by a round or two and most fair observers acknowledged the reality that Zepeda gave him the toughest fight of his career.

I scored the fight a draw (115-113 shakur is fine too). Matias or GAR will beat him decisively if he ever decides to move up to 140.

Yeah honestly Bivol has a really strong case for being P4P number 1 right now.

Recent losses to 40 year olds don't exactly scream P4P #1.

Hahahaha round or 2 hahaha woooohooo
10-2 maybe 9-3 if you want to be extremely generous to Zepeda then you can have it 8-4

Good thing youre not a judge

Shakur Stevenson might win every round vs Matias

Shakur Stevenson beats everyone at 135 and 140 and within a few years everyone from 135-147 (now that Boots is gone)

A lot of people make fun of judges scorecards but their scorecards are even worse

How Shakur dispatched of Zepeda was far more impressive than how Bivol struggled with Beterbiev over 24 rounds. He lost, albeit controversially, then barely edged out a decision against a 40 year old who didn't have the will or desire to push the pace or even really try to win. Bivol vs Beterbiev was essentially a sparring session that gave the impression of being scripted to give each man a victory and create a trilogy. Whereas Shakur vs Zepeda was a real fight that Shakur had to dig down deep in order to win. Not that Bivol didn't have to dig down deep to beat Beterbiev. He did and deserves credit there, but he didn't dig down deep to the extent Shakur did, Bivol wasn't in a firefight like Shakur was. Stylistically and skillfully, Shakur was more impressive in how he fought and beat Zepeda.

Very skilled, no doubt, but he hasn't beaten the level of opposition yet to call him the best. You have to prove yourself against the best to be called the best. If he beats Davies and Lopez and Garcia or Haney, we can talk but until then...

Loma is still #3 on the plus minus 3pts behind Shakur despite having fought way better opposition than him, being tiny for the weight class and giving away huge physical advantages, and 7 world champions alone in 10 fights at that weight to Shakur's 3 world champions in total his entire career

    SHAKUR STEVENSON
    20.2
    JESSE RODRIGUEZ
    18.6
    VASILIY LOMACHENKO
    17.2

This is what Shakur had to say about Loma's lack of size. He didn't even consider the Haney fight a fair fight going in because of the huge size disparity

    Shakur Stevenson

Interviewer: ''You saw Loma recently, how was that?''

Shakur: ''Yeah I seen him. He looked small. That's what I really was thinking. He's tiny for 135, I just moved up and I felt way bigger than Lomachenko''

Interviewer: ''He's like a natural featherweight''

Shakur: ''I think he should go back down. I think he'd be a lot better at 130''

"Devin is too big. Like, I think the size ... don't get me wrong, Lomachenko can fight. Devin is way out of his weight class. He's going to make 35 and then shoot up to 150 or 160 (actually 160) nine times out of 10, and Lomachenko is going to be 137 or 138, so it's just not even fair to me."

“Lomachenko is too small for 135 at this point I feel like,” said Stevenson during an interview with Ringside Views. “And he’s getting older. In his last fight, he looked terrible to me.”

“I think Devin smokes him. He probably jabs him all night, moves, right hands. He’s gonna outbox Lomachenko. I just think Devin is too big, too fast.”

“I didn’t like the way he looked against Ortiz. I saw him in the gym two or three weeks ago, he looked like a 126lb fighter, he doesn’t look like a 135lb fighter.

“I think Dev is too long and tall.”

So Shakur understands how difficult it is and how much skill it takes to put up those kind of numbers when you're giving up such big/huge physical advantages fighting outside your natural weight class and how much better Loma would've been down at 130 which was plain for all to see because, duh, had he turned pro at the same age as Shakur 135 would be his 6th weight class bare minimum

And look at their respective amateur careers. Loma suffered 1 loss in over 400 fights including the WSB, fighting at a higher level for much longer, in 2 Olympics, 3 World Amateur Championships, European championships, junior world championships among the countless other prestigious tournaments and tournaments he won gold in.

Like literally every singe one he entered sans 1 where he won silver and he won gold at 2 weights in the Olympics and World Amateur Championships, featherweight and lightweight, despite not being a lightweight and all those guys being noticeably bigger than him

Shakur had over 140 amateur fights with 13 losses only fighting in 1 Olympics, 0 World Amateur Championships, 1 youth Olympic games, 1 youth world championships

He lost 13 times despite having just over 1/3 the amount of fights as Loma. Skills is what generally gets you the W in the amateurs

Loma conceded 7 points in total on route to winning the 2009 world championships despite having a broken hand. 7 points combined in 5 fights.

He conceded 13 points combined in 5 fights when he won the 2008 Olympics including only conceding 1 point a piece in 3 of them, 3 points in one of the others, and 7 points in the other one which was against the only guy who ever beat him in the amateurs

4 points combined in 4 fights when he won the 2009 European championships

These were all when he was at his natural weight featherweight against opponents his size

Do you understand the freakish level of skill and consistency it takes to win over 400 amateur fights with only a solitary loss, literally win gold in every tournament you entered sans 1 where you won silver, and win Olympic gold, World Amateur Championship gold, and European gold whilst only conceding 24 points in total in all three of them combined?

If Shakur turned pro at the same age as Loma he would be 5-0 now, would not even be a world champion because it's highly unlikely would dive in the deep end fight for world titles in his 2nd and 3rd fights, and would only have fought in one weight class

He fought for his first world title in his 13th fight

Immediately moved up to 130 without defending it and didn't fight for his 2nd one until his 17th fight

And for his third one until his 23rd fight and he moved up to 135 after losing his title on the scales in his 19th fight

Loma was a three-weight champion in 12 fights, meaning he fought for the titles in his 2nd and 3rd fights, and his ones at 130 and 135 in his first fights at the weight and went from P4P #1 in the amateurs to P4P#1 in the pros in just 12 fights

Let's see Shakur in with world champions and world class fighters at 147 or higher because he'd have to go up higher to be giving away the kind of physical advantages Loma was at 135.

Let's see him do that routinely and in his opponent's countries many times with home refs and three home judges vs world champions and top contenders who dwarf him.

Let's see him do that vs big or huge punchers who are 2-3 divisions bigger than him with big or huge reach advantages so he can prove he's the best in the world and his skills compare
