Who are Inoue, Usyk, Crawford and Bivol's Davis, Lopez and Garcia/Haney? Seems you've set the bar quite a bit higher for him than those he'll be contending the P4P title with.

He beat a heavy underdog, he didn't show anything we haven't seen before, including a long tongue...

39-40 year old beterbiev is still better than zepeda and the 2nd fight was a competitive but clear bivol win.

Better how? Beterbiev's work rate and desire to win was woefully inadequate. Zepeda while certainly not as heavy handed as Beterbiev presented a much more difficult stylistic challenge. Shakur won much wider against a high volume puncher than Bivol did against a low volume puncher. Shakur also showed that he has more facets to his game than Bivol. Upper body movement, fighting off the ropes, throwing eye catching hooks and uppercuts. Bivol is highly skilled in his own right and very effective at what he does, but Shakur has way more to his game and he showed that vs Zepeda.

Bivol has never been even top 3 p4p so I don't know where that comparison came from, but Beterbiev is better than any of Davies, Lopez etc. Crawford, Usyk and Inoue have all been undisputed in two weight classes, and Crawford and Inoue has picked up titles in another two.

Why is that goofy? These people are not randoms, they are very experienced at good at their job. Compubox did a study and the correlation between the fighter landing the most punches and winning the fight was around 95% from memory. Compubox is not perfect but its still valuable data.

Back to shakur. It was a nice performance but beating a basic B level fighter does not suddenly make you the best in the world. lol.

So far his best wins are Zepeda, Valdez, Conceicao, and Herring. Beating Zepeda is nice but truthfully he still beat a fighter who was pretty one dimensional. I’d like to see him face guys of similar speed, athleticism and skill such as Tank, Muratalla, Keyshawn, Cruz, or Schofield.

If Shakur clears out 135 while also becoming undisputed then I can see an argument for him considered as the best.

Yep the boxing podcasts and youtube channels are all saying it was a close fight that Shakur won and it was the toughest fight of his career. It is only the old Floyd ball bag swingers parroting his moronic catch phrase "easy work" which is an insult to any man who has stepped in the ring.

    Schofield ducked him
    Frank Martin ducked him

Ya because most fights where a fighter lands more in compubox are lopsided. Like ya correlation doesn't mean it's the reason

It's just 1 guy pressing a button. It doesn't show how effective the punches were or even if they were landed cleanly

Wasn't he scheduled to fight Schofield? That should be next then unless Schofield pulls out again.
