I will never forgive him for making me fall asleep and miss Parker v Bakole and Beterbiev v Bivol.

Talks like he's Floyd or Duran.......how?..........Not sure how old you are, but I remember Duran and Floyd early in their careers before all the accolades....they had the same confidence. Wasn't no internet back then to discredit their opinions on themselves. Fans couldn't openly ridicule a fighter for being a "fan of his own ability".

Shakur talks like an individual who is better than his peers in the ring and thus far, he has shown that to be true. I'm not sure why people expect elite athletes to be humble in regards to selling themselves to the public. Shakur has been respectful to the sport. Pays tribute to his peers for the most part. Gives flowers to those before him.....but people want to discredit him because he doesn't speak about himself with a whisper. He gets in the ring and, according to Compubox, is one of the least hit world class fighters in the sport. That is a tribute to his defense, regardless of the silly nonsense that he is "running". Corny unknowledgeable fans want him to sit there and be punched repeatedly for them to respect him.

PPV numbers is base on promotion. Guess what, Shakur is not a promoter. It's his job to handle what goes on inside the ring. Now based on results, it makes the promoters job easier/harder, but it's weird that today's generation keep belittling these fighters over PPV numbers as if EVERY GREAT OF THE PAST was a huge marketable product. Not every HOF'er did numbers like Mike Tyson or Floyd Mayweather. PPV numbers aren't always evidence of the quality of the fighter. Look at Jake Paul's numbers..... Because of this line of thinking, Paul actually feels he's the face of the sport and ignorant diehard fans of him push the notion as well. Look at Ryan Garcia, who is an actual talent, but nothing elite..... He has yet to accomplish anything in the sport outside of showing himself to be a clown to promote fights. He helped Tank Davis to get his biggest PPV showing to date. Both Tank and Ryan have avoided negotiations to get in the ring with Shakur. If Shakur was equal to the value of his PPV numbers or lack of........ wouldn't that be an easy target to get an accolade........ Use the common sense factor.

This site needs better subject matter than around every corner we are belittling these warriors for having an opinion about themselves. Hell, there's a lot of members on this board who have never looked in the direction of a boxing ring, let alone been punched in the face with one, yet their opinion of themselves is of the notion that the sport needs their analysis......lol.

In order for a fighter to be successful, even more so at the elite level, they not only have to fully believe in themselves they need to be borderline delusional if not outright delusional.

How far do you think Shakur would go if he actually believed Skye Nicolson hit harder and was slicker than him?

Tank doesn't want to fight anyone... I think Haney offered him the opportunity, but Shakur wanted to earn a lot more money than he sells for... Garcia breaks his body in his own created division, 143 pounds... It's not that they avoid him, the guy doesn't sell... all those guys should earn a lot more than Shakur

Roberto Duran fought Esteban de Jesus at 21. Basically, he was fighting a guy who was better than Tank at 135. Did this guy Shakur already beat Tank? No, Shakur is 27. He should already be fighting Garcia Haney, Teofimo Tank, etc.

You have to entertain. I'm not obligated to watch anyone or anything.

If you want to go the swim without getting wet route, you need to take on the sharks. Floyd understood this and believed in himself enough to do it.

I think Duran fought Marcel when he was only 18 as well.

Stevenson is not a nice person for me but I think he is really strong, he has a very high level defensive technique. Surely he has to face (and beat) other champions to build an important legacy, it would be a real shame if he and Davis did not face each other and the judgment on their careers would suffer. It is also true that Stevenson sells little, his matches do not offer spectacle and this makes the events sell little. If Zepeda beats Farmer on Saturday (possible but not easy) he could be Shakur's next opponent, who in my opinion would be the favorite against the Mexican, but it would be an interesting fight.

Stop that B.S. that he was better than someone from another era. I know who Esteban de Jesus is and there is no way you can suggest he's better than Tank. Duran was his 43rd fight. He had 22 wins by KO....and 1 loss. I would ask how exactly you are suggesting that means he was "basically" better than Tank.....but I don't care for the explanation.

Shakur is a 4x world champion across 3 divisions. He's a former Lineal Champ at 130lbs. Shakur hasn't beat Tank because Tank doesn't want the fight. If you are too ignorant to understand why it is that Tank and Shakur haven't been in the ring with each other then I am not the person you should be conversing with regarding boxing.

You lost credibility with that along with trying to mention Haney, Garcia, & Teofimo...... individuals who purposely went the other direction rather than stepping in the ring with Shakur. Haney defended his undisputed vs Lomachenko, Shakur stepped in the ring to call him out. Haney wouldn't even make eye contact with him until he walked out the ring and let Shakur have the mic as if he was the one who just fought. Ryan Garcia HAS DONE NOTHING in the ring for him to be the standard of anyone's greatness. Never won a title. One tick pony. His biggest win, he had to cheat to get it vs Haney. Teofimo has been as bi-polar as any when it comes to if he even wants to fight. Shakur mentioned him twice and Teo has deflected. Even was present when Teofimo Sr. got hands put on him by Keyshawn Davis and JUNIOR hasn't done anything to avenge him. Simply has been chanting racial things about a couple of fighters he knows he'll never share the ring with, but it's keeping him relevant.

This is your rebuttal. I can do nothing but laugh at you. As I said......Shakur speaks like any well accomplished fighter with confidence in their own abilities. Only way you are going to shut him up is to beat him, which none of his opponents have been able to do and the ones you claim he should be fighting.......DOESN'T WANT TO BE IN THE RING WITH HIM.

    Moving on.
