Recorded it last night and I am up to round 4 and I have seen enough. Even the knockdown was boring. Don't have time for this guy

I also mentioned Calzaghe had hand issues. I wasn't downing Vlad or Calz, I'm saying both fighters are highly regarded on this site and while they fought they were know for some of the things Stevenson is being critisized for. Stevenson being young, has a chance to grow and improve his style.

Loma doesn't jump on a bike and run for 12 rounds. He presses the action. And yes, he has power. Ask the guys who quit on their stool against him.

I think your assessment of Stevenson is mostly based on his attitude not his skills. I'm of the opinion that he is young and dumb, but has the time to grown and improve. You claiming he's incapable of changing is not fact based at all. You know nothing about his future or what he is capable of doing.

Let me respond here....late in the fight, they posted a graphic that showed the Namibian landed only 1 or 2 punches a round. That meant that Stevenson is extremely hard to hit, which is great. However, the graph also showed that Stevenson himself was landing only 4 punches a round! Even the sycophants announcing the fight said ...and I quote Bradley here..."Stevenson is afraid of getting hit". It's not like he was fighting a murderous, Mike Tyson like puncher, in which case it would be reasonable for him to make sure to avoid punches. But to avoid punching completely as a matter of style does not make for entertainment.

Willie Pep avoided getting hit and had zero power....but he slapped and counterpunched.
Mayweather is a master at avoiding getting hit, but he punches back!

Great talent. If he's boring to you, don't watch. There's plenty of great fighters I'm not excited to watch (but still respect).

hehehehe. Honestly i completely forgot about that incident with the two women and bashing a man on the ground, double teamed him and all, and the man was probably drunk...

I was basing my assessment on his performances. Now thinking about it and what you brought up had me thinking. This kid is a punk. His whole demeanor and punk style of boxing of punching and running scurred to get hit. He said the other kid from Namibia was scurry.

Well, i dunno, meng. The boy is no old school or throw back. Baby boo has that look, dimple and smirking like a punk mf and it makes sense now why i get this vibe that he is a lil chit with a boring style in the ring.I can't.

New gen bringing the punk style of boxing to the main stream. If you are a fan of it good for you. Maybe for the purist but not for me. Thanks, mucho gracias.

Ok, I get all of that. I watched the fight. Not saying it was a canidate for FOTY. My pount is, people are trying to destroy this guy for having a boring fight, but failing to realize he is still young and learning his craft. I'm taking a wait and see approach. I don't think it would take too much for him to increase his punch output, which in turn could lead to more knockouts. Time will tell.

Stevenson even apologized, live and on Twitter after, for his gobshite performance. Perhaps you tone it down just a little and read what everyone, including the man you are defending, is saying.
