Shakur Stevenson to block Herring v. Frampton? WBO Mandatory Overdue

    Shakur Stevenson is attempting to block Herring vs. Frampton from happening and wants to force his mandatory shot NEXT!

    Should Shakur get his shot next, and should Herring vs. Frampton be a non-title fight if they were to proceed in fighting eachother?

    Why not get his shot if he is mandatory?
    Didn't Arum get this Ukrainian a title shot in his second pro fight with no mando qualification at all? Give Shakur his shot at the belt.

    Seems strange if that’s the case and Arum reps both Shakir and Jamal that he didn’t make that fight in the first place. Both with him and keeps belt in-house. My guess is that shakurs advisors and top rank don’t think he’s ready and Shakur is just promoting himself and marketing himself. He knows that’s not happening.
    If he’s ready for a big fight he would have taken the Warrington fight when he was offered a career high payday for it.

    Why would they try and stop Herring vs Frampton? It´s been signed and is happening next month.
