In fairness, the brass of the division hasn't exactly been chomping at the bit to fight Stevenson, either.

Now I'm not suggesting that Tank, Loma, etc don't believe they can beat Stevenson, but their apparent reluctance to fight him certainly suggests they believe he's a very difficult opponent stylistically.

Tank doesn't seem to relish the thought of chasing Stevenson for 12 rounds, a frustrating proposition if ever there was one, and Loma is probably worried he won't get the nod on the cards against another young American in what could very well be a highly technical if not overly entertaining affair (for the average boxing fan at least).

All the smoke is at TR, you’ve got Loma, Berinchyk, Mason, Muratalla, Keyshawn, and even O’Shaquie moving up. Yet Shakur doesn’t seem to be all too willing to take any of these fights. Bob put half of that list on the same card as Shakur and whaddya know, it gets a little too hot in the kitchen for Shakur and he ditches TR. Shakur has a boring style, doesn’t even have loyal fans in his hometown, can’t punch a hole through wet paper, has an annoying personality ,and punches ladies in car parks. He’s a fckin nightmare to promote but Bob has somehow made this kid a respectable pick for P4P lists, has protected him, has fed him some of his biggest names yet Shakur cries about how TR can’t promote black fighters lol. Nobody wants Shakur right now. Matchroom don’t want him, PBC don’t want him, GB don’t want him, only reason Mayweather promotions want him is to try feed him to Tank. But this is what happens to young American fighters these days it seems, they get built up and protected, the commentators and the fans blow smoke up their ass, they think they’re worth a billion bucks and are the best thing since sliced bread then they get in there with a real opponent who’s trying to actually beat them and they can’t back it up. Shakur’s just a loud-mouthed runner with delusions of grandeur.

Shakur passes on the offer he wants the Floyd Mayweather deal which is the equivalent to the Ted Danson deal. "But Shakur you are not Floyd Mayweather" @WhataRock @NoChin

Who is Eddie gonna match him up with? I'm looking at his roster

Joe Cordina? Andy Cruz? Liam Paro?

Yup, GP should not be forgotten in this equation.
And then there are the Saudis and Queensberry with: Denys Berinchyk, Mark Chamberlain, Anthony Cacace and Jadier Herrera. Those are all potential fights.

Eddie has also stated that he won’t be paying him the rate TR are currently paying him, let alone the increased offer which Shakur rejected. At about 4:21, he says, “I said to Bob, well I’m not paying him as much money as you’re paying him.” If Eddie is so interested in promoting Shakur then he would have offered him a better contract than the one he had, instead he tried to offer a less lucrative and worse contract with fewer champs and fighters at 135 than TR has.

Shakur’s manager will be saying why did you pass on the offer you think Top Rank and Bob are saying “hey lets give that guy with no fans and a boring style more money? Where lucky to get anything.”

Bloke thinks he is Penske material but he is going in for a rude awakening when tries to start a job there. The package won't br what he is expecting.

If Shakur wants to sign with a good promoter all he has to do is the opposite of everything he has been doing.
