stevenson is a talented boxer. he has the potential to do great things. this fight could be a step towards dominating the division. given that feeling about stevenson, i think martin will do enough to squeak out a decision. martin is the guy who could spoil a well laid plan.
I kinda feel for Loma here. Haney is gonna leave the division and move up to 140 so Davis and Stevenson are probably gonna both feast on Loma on the way to becoming undisputed.
Some fighters the ability is obvious. Fast guys, big punchers come along all the time and people jump on the hype train before they've even won a title or even beaten a proven good opponent. But when a fighter has the talent and the technical skills as well, then greatness is inevitable. Also Shakur has already been a unified champion, he isn't just a prospect he's already proven world class.
tank, devin, ryan, teo, pitbull. They dont want the smoke. That should tell people wassup. Loma prob has the balls to fight him after he whoops kamboses but he getting whooped. Hes gonna have to step up and hold a gun to these guys heads. Id like to see him shutout naverette aswell.
Arum shot down the Loma-Kambosos talk. While I would certainly favor Stevenson over Loma at this stage of their respective careers, the Ukrainian isn't getting "whooped."
shakur is on a diff level. Loma would have a better chance moving back to his natty weight and beating monster at 126.
Sheesh look at Jermall whose been champ for 2 years and nobody gives a damn that he hasnt fought and isnt fighting soon. Thanks WBC
loma is just to small. If he was natty 135 hed have beat teo easy and stopped haney. I had him beating haney. Youd think the big money fight would be in japan vs the monster id favor loma.
I'd love to see Loma-Inoue at 126. At the very least, I'd like to see Loma return to 130 and fight Navarette.
Frank Martin is checking all the boxers you want a prospect to but he's nowhere near ready for someone like Shakur..............not that he would win even if he were.
