Cruz had to be hyper cautious due to Stank's power, and still did enough to get the win. He doesn't even have that to worry about here. Goddamn, what a beatdown awaits.
clear ud for shakur. wouldnt look like tonights fight, though. he would remind everyone what amazing legs hes got when he dont want to hold ground. seems everyones forgot. if shakur dont want to give you the distance, you aint getting it. and cruz has one range.
well, he has a shotgun lead left, long enough to land on cruz, without danger of getting countered by the shorter armed inside fighter. then he has the speed of leg, to immediately position himself out of range, forcing cruz to go through the whole task of getting through the long range shots where he can do his best work, again. he would would mix in some uppercuts as cruz comes in, as cruz will be dipping and weaing as he moves forward to get past the long range shots. shakur has the skills to fight like hanney, but the toughness to fight like teofimo. if his body settles well at 135, where he starts getting his man strength, hes gonna clean up whoever challenges him. oh, and he needs a better corner. hes got the ability to do what you want him to do, but im not sure his corner is good enough to tell him the right things to do.
Preach! People forget Shakur can move with the best of them when he elects to stick and move he's a serious problem for anyone at 135.
Skills? What did pea whitaker have to dissuade jcc with? You don't have to hurt someone in order to put on a clinic or win a boxing match.
Cruz's head movement, intense pressure, ability to cut the ring off, violent left hook, insane volume, would bring about a full scale meltdown. Hell, he was consistently going low, and getting dirty tonight, and Robson put him under virtually no mental pressure whatsoever. Everything you said, is a lot easier said than done, when you have a rabid pitbull relentlessly coming for you for 36 minutes straight.
