Probably wouldn’t be an entertaining fight, but highly technical, and the question has to be asked at some point, he looks unbeatable.

    Who wins this matchup?

Shakur is a world class operator but Whitaker was a wizard. 9-3 Sweet Pea

    Whitaker easily.
What I saw from the Stevenson vs Lopez fight was both
fighters posing for 12 rds. Both men thinking of what to
do instead of instinctively doing. Both men generally
fighting from the same distance, and at the same pace.

Both men in generally jumping out the way of punches
instead of staying in the pocket, slipping, or parrying
the punch and countering. (Note: Parrying is different than
    blocking)
No consistent body punching from either man, that was
    done only as an afterthought...
What is considered world class boxing in today's era
would've been considered amateur night in some era's.
Whitaker would embarrass Stevenson prime vs prime.

    He would absolutely dominate
    him.

The jab is too quick, he's too slick in the pocket, underrated body puncher, quicker of body and thought - work rate is another level.

There's levels and Stevenson is a fair few below Pete.

Shakur sure AF aint beating Pernell at 135. I dont think anybody besides Duran beats Pernell at 135.

History might show that Whitaker vs Shakur would be competitive at 140.
