But if Stevenson faces Cordina, ppl will say that Stevenson's ducking Conceicao. Besides Conceicao was the first boxer to dent Valdez's record and Valdez was considered the #1 or #2 super featherweight in the world at the time. Not knocking on Cordina here (his win was amazing) but Ogawa isn't considered a strong champion anyways (just won a vacant title). There's no win-win situation here. In my opinion, quality fights that can made for Shakur Stevenson @ 130 would be either Robson Conceicao or Joe Cordina.

Shakur has literally only beaten two world champions, the bang average Herring who couldn't even hang below world class up at 135 so he decided to drop down to 130 and beat up on a past prime blown up 122-126 pounder Frampton in what was a grotesque size mismatch.

The other was a Valdez who in addition to looking two divisions smaller than Shakur and being involved in about half a dozen life and death struggles, including with Marriaga who Loma literally toyed with like he was a bum, and being dropped and hurt a whole bunch of times, was whooped 11-1 by a same size Loma not a two divisions heavier one in the amateurs even though Loma had a broken hand.

Loma has fought 11 world champions in just 18 fights, that's way more/way more in less or way less fights than all but one of his P4P top 10 peers and the current favs of his rabid haters. Clenelo has fought more but he's had 43 more fights than Loma.

And in complete contrast to many of the favs of his rabid haters, with the exception of Rigo who ironically countless of them picked to beat/destroy him, the world champions he's fought are his size, bigger or often way bigger and were in their prime. Not ones who are one or two divisions lighter or naturally lighter who were career fighters at the weight below or even lower who'd been dragged up and who were featherfists or average punchers at weights below.

You ask these people to name one time their current favs were outweighed by two or three divisions let alone merely just one, were giving away close to six inches in reach, fighting big/murderous punchers in their third weight class, a weight class they don't belong in full of giants way bigger, longer and heavier than them, who are huge punchers for that weight or the hardest punchers at that weight who possess murderous one punch KO power in either hand, and they'll draw a blank because not once has it ever happened with any of them. Loma routinely fighting giants.

And in complete contrast to all their current favs, Loma has never once had a single home ref or judge in any of his fights, whereas they very often have a full set. Hence why they'rec still undefeated or don't have more Ls on their ledgers. If Loma had their refs and judges on his side he'd still be undefeated and he should only have one legit loss as it is because the other one, in just his second pro fight against someone who outweighed him by over two divisions and who cheated like crazy was due to corruption rearing it's ugly head.

Over a third of said serial cheat's total punch connects were illegal blows that were counted as legal scoring shots and Loma still outlanded them by like 24 punches if I remember correctly. That's 24 legal blows.

If Loma had their boy's refs and judges in his pocket not only would've Salido been DQ'd as he would've been against them, which he categorically should've been, but like I said he would still be undefeated and everyone knows that. Had the corrupt as sin, and he's infamous for being so, ref deducted just one point from Salido for his 50-60 low blows the fight would've been a draw.

Going into that fight these were Salidio's only four losses in like 13 years or something

A 42-2-1 JMM who was coming off a draw with a prime Manny

    A 30-0-0 Mikey Garcia

    An 18-0 Gamboa

And a 30-11-1 Cristobal Cruz - don't be fooled by the record he was a good fighter and Salido avenged that loss by wide scores a few fights later.

And JMM, Garcia, and Gamboa were either all roughly the same weight as Saildo or heavier than him and Cruz was probably roughly the same as him too and they had all been past 8 rounds or the full route numerous to many many times, whereas, in complete contrast to all of them Loma was outweighed by 11lbs, was only 1-0 as a pro,. and had never been past five rounds before in his life and his nuts, hips, thighs and knees were being bombarded with bazookas all night

Hell, one of the three US judges scored his one-sided ass whooping of GRJ a draw. How do you spell CORRUPTION?

One of the three US judges scored the Teo fight 119-109 even though Loma clearly won the vast majority of the second half of the fight.

And one even gave two rounds to Nakatani even though it was a massacre and he never won a single second of the fight.

The Loma haters are a strange bunch. Very strange indeed.

@Serge Loma is a great fighter but I think you are overstating his resume. What would you say are his best 5 wins?

Lol wut? Loma is the most skilled boxer in the world, it’s obvious. Shakur is brilliant also, but just a little behind for boxing skill alone.

Shakur is behind Usyk in boxing skill also if we are talking boxing in general and not just around Shakur’s weight. He is a little better than Haney, which is still a compliment.

Interesting fight, but Shakur could get a late stoppage countering Robson when he comes in to throw those combinations

Glad this fight is happening because Conceico is who Stevenson should have fought not Captain Tea-Man. That said, I don't think he beats Shakur.

He lost to Lopez, if you scored it a draw, you were a Canelo judge

The outcome of the Loma-Lopez fight (not that I give two sh*ts about your opinion) has what, exactly, to do with my conversation with that other yahoo about Salido "outboxing" Lomachenko?

Not losing a round? I rate Shakur highly but Robson is no joke. I expect Shakur to win a 7-5, 8-4 type decision with some difficult moments.

Conceicao is not a KO artist, If judges gifted Valdez with a UD, when he was losing like 2 to 10, can't see how popular american champion Stevenson will lose to brazilian(not from these countries who take advantage because of the politics)
Judges will be on his side, after watching what Robson did to Valdez, i doubt Shakur will be placed in risk to lose with fair judges, and Shakur is much, much better technically then Valdez. There's almost 0 risk for Stevenson with scoring as that in Conceicao - Valdez match.
Still, for me it would be interesting to watch, no matter the corruption on the scorecards.

Don't sleep on Conceição, he has an excellent jab and a reach advantage over Shakur. Gold medalist and was robbed against Valdez, if he comes hungry and with a good game plan he could pull the upset. Still think Stevenson is the favorite and a possible super star, technically much better too.

Great matchup! Robson will do much better than Valdez. Robson was robbed in the Valdez fight. I rescored that bout and had Robson winning 9 rounds to 3 rounds.

    Outboxed by Salido LMAO

One armed Loma beat or at best got a draw at welterweight against Lopez.

Round 2 and 6 Lomas all day and therefore he wins if you give him rounds 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. Ive been through this several times on this forum , Loma landed the more numerous cleaner shots in rounds 2 and 6. Lopez landed next to f all. Bradley's commentary swayed the casuals.

Loma may have been doing f all rounds 1 to 6 but all Lopez was doing was following Loma around failing to cut off the ring, swinging hitting air and elbows. Loma convincingly won rounds 8, 9, 10, 11. Any round Lopez won was due to simply following Loma around the ring punches arms and elbows and Loma fairying around the ring

Don't try and rewrite history bud
