Teo with his size advantage, power, and then underrated skills just got a close win. Shakur has nothing to keep Loma at bay for 6 rounds, doesn't have power like Tank, I don't see him winning but it's competitive.

Teo won a close fight in reality, but the cards were wild. Shakur is getting heavily promoted so there might be a thumb on the scale.

Id like to see a bracket leading to this.

    Stevenson fights Herring-Frampton winner.

    Loma fights Valdez-Berchelt winner.

Winners fight off in the 2nd half of next year

Lomas hourglass has run out of sand. his time is up.
the amateur fame and glory was too low hanging of a fruit for Loma to pass on.
Now he is knee deep in the professional ranks, barely scratching 20 fights and going on 35.
These boys fight to put food on their tables, and they dont wear head gear.
this young brother Stevenson will prove the last nail in Lomas coffin.
and if Loma ducks him Tank and Haney will be waiting right around the next corner.
ESPN can't save Loma now. there is nowhere left to run.
    time to pay the piper

I don't think the curtain has closed on Loma just yet. He looked bad against Teo, but when he threw, he looked sharp. He gives Stevenson some serious issues.

I doubt Stevenson will make it past half of the fighters in the Top 25 at 130.

    1 Miguel Berchelt - probably KO's him.
2 Joseph Diaz - outworks him, wins SD.
3 Tevin Farmer - probably gets robbed.
    4 Oscar Valdez - KO's him.
    5 Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov - KO's him.
6 Leo Santa Cruz - toss up.
7 Carl Frampton - toss up.
8 Rene Alvarado - toss up.
9 Jamel Herring - toss up.
    10 Shakur Stevenson - NA
11 Andrew Cancio - Shakur beats him.
12 Muhammadkhuja Yaqubov - toss up.
    13 O'Shaquie Foster - toss up
14 Azinga Fuzile - Shakur beats him.
    15 Chris Colbert - KO's him.
16 Joe Noynay - Shakur beats him.
17 Xavier Martinez - toss up.
18 Claudio Marrero - might KO him.
19 Joe Cordina - toss up.
20 Samir Ziani - toss up.
21 Michael Magnesi - Shakur beats him.
22 Martin Joseph Ward - Shakur beats him.
23 Albert Bell - toss up.
24 Miguel Roman - Shakur beats him.
25 Kosuke Saka - Shakur beats him.

So, yeah... let's see how he does against the top dogs there before even contemplating how badly Loma would ravage his petulant bratty punk ass.

Even that gal on the street who ate about 20 flush bombs from Shakur's welterweight boyfriend and then bounced up like a Jack in the box and proceeded to hold her own against him didn't grunt when she punched like Shakur does. Grunting when you punch is bad enough but doing so when you can't punch your way through castle cobwebs and you still look much bigger than your opponents even when you move up in weight is just flat out inexcusable.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say as long as Stevenson doesn't allow things outside of the ring to distract him, he goes on to be a future top P4P fighter and if he fights Loma in 2021, beats him.

I obviously really rate Stevenson, been high on my radar for a while now. I don't see anyone beating him anytime soon.

How do most of these fighter’s beat Shakur, when he’s not even there to hit? It sounds like your dealing with a big hate!

Based on wishful thinking quite clearly. Lomas amateur background was enough for everyone to ride his sack out of the gate, even after losing his second pro fight to a journeyman. Shakur has demonstrated phenomenal skills at the am and pro level so far yet somehow it's not enough to favor him over the top 25, regardless of what the rest of the boxing world seems to think by in large

He talks a big game but has never faced a top opponent. I would like to see him fight a top 130lb fighter. Loma can easily make the weight and it would be a great fight. Two skilled boxers with similar size. I like Loma if he’s healthy. He seems to be having injury problems every fight but he always comes into a fight in shape and is a smart fighter.

Loma came up short versus Teo but I wouldn’t write him off because of the loss. He will be back and I’m hoping he starts fighting guys his own size at 130. Even though he can beat guys at 135, it’s not his natural weight. I’d like to see GRJ fight Stevenson. That would be a fun matchup if they can make it.
