Shakur. I think his punches are less wide, more straight and accurate. He also seems to waste less energy. Colbert's flashy style might be his undoing but he's pretty talented himself. Shakur on points.
I'm favouring Shakur to win a clear decision. Colbert is flashy and has pretty quick hands but he's not as good defensively and he's your typical speedster in that he gets off first but isn't really a counter puncher, he relies on his speed more than anything else. Shakur punishes you for missing unlike Colbert and can use your aggression against you, he's simply the more skilled fighter.
Good match up I would favor Stevenson but it will never happen because of the usual BS politics in boxing.
I would likely take Shakur in a close fight. This fight will likely never happen though. Pretty sad state that boxing is in that when two good looking prospects are coming up the first response by fans is assuming they will never fight each other. Yikes
Two excellent young boxers and arguably the very best at 130lbs. Both can be defensive spoilers, but I like Stevenson's mid-range and pocket work more. Stevenson via decision.
