I think Mosley is getting a tad underrated now because post Forrest he was never quite as good. Before that his jab and combinations were more seamless.

Technically he has his weaknesses but his speed, combinations, workrate and chin still make him A-Class. Just because he didn't fight great competition at lightweight doesn't mean he wasn't formidable there

Arguello is technically better but he was technically better than Pryor too. Mosley like Pryor has a high engine, fast combinations great chin. Mosley is a much better puncher than Pryor aswell.

How good is Arguello's defence? It's better than Delahoya's but I don't think his reactions are good enough to evade prime Mosley despite his better fundamentals

Mosley is more likely to get discouraged or outboxed than Pryor though, as we saw somewhat against Forrest, but that was against a bigger faster man than Arguello. Mosley didn't get discouraged by Delahoya's punches either. Mosley would be quite a bit stronger between the 2 men

This is speed versus timing and it's a hard call to make a call, I wouldn't put money on it but would lean towards Mosley

I like Mosley because of his workrate and fast hands. Not to mention he's the overall stronger man.
    But given Arguello's pinpoint punching...

Shane would most likely take a decision, but with El Flaco's timing, you never know.

Mosley was never a truly great lightweight imo even with my rose-tinted glasses in his favor. Not saying he has no chance against Arguello and I feel he'd give him a tough battle. Shane late Ko,Dec or Arguello Dec. Can't see Shane getting ko'd in this though possible.

As far as the Pryor fights, don't forget Arguello was fighting at his worse weight at the near end of his career. That wouldn't be the same younger, destructive fighter facing Shane in this matchup.

    How dare you?!

I totally agree with you on this one:

Although it's slightly controversial, to be honest.

Bold call Flea. The most surprising part is that you left out a dig at Lopez.
