It's such a shame Guillermo Rigondeaux couldn't get a spot on the May/Pac under card. This would have been a perfect time to showcase his skills, and it could have been a excellent per-curser to the main event as long as he was appropriately matched.. Big events should also be used as a platform to build new or current stars as the exposure is so massive......come to think of it Golovkin and Lomo should be on the card as well.
I still can't believe they haven't announced the undercard fights other than the underwhelming Lomachenko vs. Gamalier Rodriguez bout. Rumor had only 2 undercard fights would be televised. Have I missed out on the rumor of what the other will be? Boxrec shows that Jesse Hart vs. Mike Jimenez and Christopher Pearson vs. Said El Harrak are the only other fights signed, but I recall in the announcements that neither will be televised... They better not be, that's for sure. So, what's the deal with it, really? I'm surprised they didn't push back Dirrell vs. Badou Jack or something for it.
Didn't Love just fight a week ago? And that was his first fight since the upset loss to Porky. Don't think they'd do that to him. Yeah I just boxrec'd it. Fought March 28. No way they have him fight May 2. Certainly when you consider that a reasonable opponent for him has to be poor at this point.
Really guys? You honestly don't like Rigondeaux or want to see him in a relevant fight on a big stage? You folks are crazy...
how many chances should he get?? he's been an undercard to 3 of pac's ppv, headlined 2 hbo b a d shows and he just ...stinks up a fight.
wow, what a poor undercard, you'd think they'd be kinder to the fans and put some better fights on for a PPV worth $100
Who the he!! wants to watch cr@p like that before Pac-Mayweather. That would just take the shine outta the whole atmosphere.
