Really what you should shame them for is beleiving the hype about Cintron that the fans and media put out there, they assumed much like most of the fans that Cintron would just fold and cry~

I disagree, Besides Cintron didn't damage Angulo at all.
it's a setback no doubt about it, He will prob appear on Showtime next.
(w/HBO prob dropping him from their rotation of prospects until he builds a lil' on the low)

That said, Kermit defo fought the safe fight, he needed to win more so than Angulo.
Alfredo needs to go back into the gym and work on that workrate.
(The kids got a championship beard)

It was a curious choice on the surface, but HBO's new policy of competitive matchmaking has put the burner under any outfit wanting to do business with them. Bob Arum is a rat ****, but some (in the business of boxing) may consider him the wiser for sticking to his guns and taking his young star mismatches elsewhere and not bowing to HBO's corporate requirements. Angulo's people were likely given few options by the network, and Cintron was one of those few. **** happens, but Angulo was never that exceptional anyway, IMHO.

IT was a good fight and not a shutout or anything. Wheres the shame? 15 fights in and fighting a former title holder...

If it didn't happen now it would have happened later. Angulo is too predictable and one dimensional, this loss should help him focus on improving.

The shame isn't in taking the fight. There is some though in the condition he was in.

How much of Angulo's shape was his own fault wasn't entirely clear. He clearly wasn't 100%.

Well he could have taken the route that the *** in your avatar did. Duck legitimate fighters and go for the path of least resistance. :happy

I'm not the biggest fan of that "***" either, but there's not much percentage in comparing him to Angulo.

    Correction... there is no percentage.

Angulo is a C- class fighter at best, the dude is slower , less skilled and less durable than Margo, luckily for him Cintron wasn't at his best. IMO Forrest would've KTFO of Angulo last night, I honestly don't see him ever becoming elite, the talent just isn't there.

If Angulo was elite he would've beaten Cintron, there's no shame in getting beat by Cintron other than the fact that he may've been a little exposed. Angulo can come back from this but it's going to take time, remember Cintron is a lot better than he's given credit for on ESB, he's only lost to the elite, Antonio Margarito, and a draw against Sergio Martinez, I hope Cintron beats Martinez too in the rematch.

I dont believe that, I think that angulo with more in ring knowledge would be able to beat Cintron. I said before the fight that it would be a tough fight for Angulo to win, but he wasnt dominated or anything he lost a close but clear UD. I would even bet that if the two were to have a rematch that Angulo would win. But Cintron will be off to bigger names for now, so that wont happen for awhile.
