Why? If you too ******ed to realize that a boxing match can end at any moment, then you shouldn't be watching the sport.

Yeah fair point. I am not against Manny at all by the way, I think he is an amazing boxer and everything now, but the build up to this was huge, and the way Hatton walks into everything. Although watchhing him fall and land for that last shot was horrible, and how his eyes were rolling in his head.

    What?

He is 20 years old (hardly a "little boy")and has carried the belt for Ricky on numerous occasions. He worships Hatton, and in turn, Hatton has been extremely good to him. And what evidence that you have that he's terminally ill, except for your bitterness that you spent £15. Boo Hoo.

Get your facts right before you start spouting such obvious bull****.

I can feel you, even I expected more but all credit to Pacquiao really, he proves in every single fight how great he really is. No shame for Hatton to lose the way he did, he just couldn't take what Pac had to offer and at least tried but accepting the fight.

I'll have to disagree. It looked like Hatton really tried to me plus its hard when you're in the ring with Pac plus theres only so much you can learn @ Ricky's age. He was never gonna become a master boxer and last night showed he was never gonna learn enough 2 beat Pac.

Lol. First of all. He looks like a little boy, and he is small and has the voice of a little boy. And how did I knew he is terminally ill? Well. Maybe because every single commentry guy there said it, and explained who he was and why this was his first time to see Hatton for a while...

I do have my facts right! :yep:hi:

Yeah but many of us paid to see a fight, these are professionals and he was bigger than the guy, at least he could last as long as David Diaz. Maybe Hatton has been a farse after all - built and protected by his original promoter (fighting tomato cans), caught a break with and old KT (with help from the referee) and once he stepped it up it was game over (Collazo was a sample of the things to come)

Hatton lost because he fought like **** and Pacquiao was so god damn NASTY! :yep

Hatton made so many mistakes and you can't make those mistakes against Manny Pacquiao.

No matter how Hatton boxed though he was still going to get whooped.

Pac has done so much damage to Hatton's legacy.

Hattons career can be picked apart big time and there was far too much hype around him.

Hatton was just never THAT good and was lucky that he fought Tszyu and Castillo when he did.

    He lost to Collazo.

Blatantly ducked Junior Witter, ducked Judah and even Mayweather earlier on.

He was Corleys mandatory for ages but chose to defend his WBU tile instead, which most people thought was a real world title.

Since when have Frank Warren fighter's ducked a WBO title shot?

Also, he never wanted none of Cotto!

He also looked messy in a lot of fight's.

The bottom line is that Ricky Hatton was just never THAT good.

He was just a good world class fighter.

When he stepped up and fought the best in Mayweather and Pacquiao he got compeletly taken apart and destroyed!

Yeah, I knew he would end up getting knocked out sooner or later to be honest. I was just hoping it wasn't in the second round lol. And I don't want to take anything away from Manny, because he is amazing and I guess I overlooked him at first... I sure as hell won't be making that mistake again :yep

Exactly. I have been saying it for yesars, the guy is a ****ing bum.

He beat KT, awesome, we get it. Then what? Should have lost to Collazo, barley beat a very green Urango. Beat a torn Castillo... The had done NOTHING to deserve acclaim at all.

About time the bopxing world is rid of this fraud.

But the way he lost was just so .

He did'nt put up a fight at all.

People thought De La Hoya's loss was terrible for him but Hattons was on a whole nother level.

Yeah, I don't want anybody to think I am trying to lessen Pacmans victory, I think he looked amazing and as I have stated above, I assumed Hatton was going to get knocked out anyway. Its just, when you feel so excited for a fighter, watching him fail to deliever on his own promises is annoying. I mean think of the people that went to vegas to watch him. 25, 000. They must be pissed off lol. Well maybe they were too drunk to know what happend. But, well done for hatton for going after the best each time...
