Yep, he was in fact throwing a jab right before he got KO'd. I respect Hatton. He put it all on the line, walked into the ring first because he considered himself the challenger for the "pound for pound title", was outclassed but also classy throughout the entire episode. He can look himself in the mirror and see a man, a man who has guts and never backed down from any challenge, for better or worse. :good
Just shut up. What the hell were you doing the past 5 weeks? Roadwork? Sparring? Leaving your 8 year old kid to go to the other side of the Atlantic? The guy basically gave you something to do on a Saturday night, instead of crying about it be grateful. He didn't ask you to stay up and pay 15 pounds for the PPV. He was getting paid anyway, regardless of you buying the PPV or not. He stepped into the ring with a living legend, a guy who throws punches at a phenomenal rate with great power. A man-like machine. And all you can do is come here and cry about how you had to stay up and watch the fight.
This is a boxing forum. We have come here to talk about his loss and his failed promises. This is what forums are all about. But thank you for leaving a comment, I feel satisfied in the knowledge that not only did you waste your time reading the thread, you then wasted more time, by leaving a pointless comment about how we shouldn't talk about boxing on a boxing forum... thank you :good
Obviously we talk about boxing. But for you to come in here and speak as if a professional boxer OWED YOU a win is BS. I wasn't even supporting Hatton, by the way. The problem isn't Hatton here, it's the way you seem to assume that these guys are circus monkeys who work for your pleasure, whereas in reality they are professional athletes who put their life on the line. Of course you're disappointed in Hatton's performance, so are a lot of people. But while you will get over it in a few days, he's the one who actually got KO'd; so for you to come here and say "shame on you" to someone who stepped into the ring with a fighting machine is not reasonable. Finally, I don't think I need to tell you that Hatton didn't lose on purpose. I don't think anybody would ever want to be KO'd the way he was.
...:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy Theres all the people cheering for you and your little speech! I am not complaining that he lost. I am saying "Shame On You" for making so many promises to so many people, he said he was going to have better defence and promised to his skills, I knew he was going to lose, but I was expecting a war... so your point, makes no sense in connection with what I was saying. If you had read all the posts, you would of saw that. But yeah you keep posting speeches that actually miss the point of the thread... :good
wtf else is he going to say? "oh i have no boxing skills but i will try to KO Pac". have you ever heard of promoting yourself and the fight? :tired
Look past your pride and see that he made many false promises about being a different fighter? Lol. you missed the point...
Ohhh god damn it! Will you down little ****ers actually read! Not all o you just some of you! I am not moaning! that he lost!!!! My point he he made up so much **** about being a better boxer and how he was going to be more careful and apply "Smart pressure" and he did none of that. thats my point... Jesus christ. Pacman is a better fighter, and the best in the world, and ricky should have respected that before running in there with no real plan? I undersand its hard for the Hatton fans to accept that he boxed like an idiot last night... but he did. Full credit for him for trying but he just said so much crap about being better this time? :huh Thats the point... why say so much **** like that and then just run in there like he hadn't been training at all. atsch
Sorry but don't make excuses for him. He fought someone who is far above him, a totally different class. Not to mention with a better trainer[Freddy Roach], yes a better trainer! Pacman just made him look like an amateur
Theres a limit to what he should of said, you didn't hear manny say all that crap, but ricky did, he said so many things and failed on all of them, but well done to him for trying, but still... it looked like he didn't have a gameplan, but maybe that was just pacmans speed making him look worse. :think
I wonder...will all the people who did put their house on Hatton to win (at his own advice) get a full refund from Ricky himself?
LOL! making excuse for him? thats the last thing I am doing. I actually said I would love to hear HIS excuses. god I am tired of repeating myself, people ****in postin comments without reading all the thread. Idiots. atsch
