Ken Shamrock is set to take on Bobby Lashley on Roy Jones' Boxing/MMA card on March 21. This comes as a shock to me, but im excited as im a big Shamrock fan. I say Ken beats him! Anyone think the same?
Lashley actually has a very strong Wrestling background(i aint talking wwe bull****) and as we all know he is one big ****er. Im unsure as to how far Ken has fallen but im just gunna go with lashley..
I guess it depends on how much MMA Lashley has picked up by now. Hes a much better athelte and is training with ATT the best camp IMO but hes still very green and we all know if Shamrock has anything its experience and some leglocks he can win it. Im actually intrigued by it if Lashley cant pull it off I doubt he has any sort of future.
This looks a lot like Lesnar/Mir. The only real difference is that Shamrock is a lot older and a lot more shot than Mir. That should at least make it interesting.
Im a shamrock fan but i pick lashley especially if ken ends up on his back... it could be very messy :think that being said, id like to see the old man get a bit of respect behind him again..
Lashley is a steroid addicted Glass Jawed joke. Even an old and shot Shamrock has a chance to beat him.
Lashley by brutal GnP. Theres no way old Ken can even pull guard against a youngster like Bobby. Bobby is athletically blessed for a big man much like Lesnar.
I wont be surprise if shamrock wins this fight. Even though he is very old i think he still have better submission than lashley. Remember what happen with mir-lesnar 1. Lesnar looks like he was about to ground n pound mir's face but then he got careless and got submitted. If lashley is not careful ken can do the same. Remember ken is known for those ankle lock :good
Ken doesnt even remember how to pull guard let alone an ankle lock. Furthermore Ken is definitly no Frank Mir. Lashely by humiliation!
I agree, I think Lashley will have his way with Ken. And why do people keep talking about Ken's leglocks's...when was the last time he pulled one off?. Lashley will do exactly the same as Tito did and in about the same amount of time.
Ken is going to get that ass tapped. and not literally either as i imagine Lashley will just brutally GnP him into a referee stoppage.
Shamrock doesn't have a good guard - so if Lashley can throw him down - Lashley will probably pound him unconscious - unless he has no idea how to punch on the ground.
The last time Shamrock pulled off a leglock was probably against Kimo way back in UFC 8. UFC 8. That's a mighty long time ago. Although - Ken did leglock Don Frye - he just wouldn't tap. And how is this fight happening anyhow? I thought Ken was fighting Frank and then he was going to fight Tank Abbot. I guess nothing is real until it's signed.
