Not only must he adjust his eating habits to lose at least seven kilograms before his cruiserweight title shot against Australia's former three-time world champion Danny Green in November, but his style will undergo a near full-scale makeover. It's a big difference in weight. Big difference in style. Big difference in speed, Cameron's trainer, Henry Schuster, said. "We've got to shrink him down and add a lot of speed. Heavyweight you don't care. You eat whatever you want. It's going to be hard. Losing weight is a major. We have to start now. Power alone is not going to beat speed. Shane's style will have to differ from the last fight. You've got to have speed, footwork, head movement. Cameron's natural place is at heavyweight. He is most comfortable among the division of giants. The 34-year-old proved that by knocking out Monte Barrett with a thunderous fourth-round right hand two months ago. Green's slight frame - he is expected to weigh 87kg - is suited to cruiserweight, where speed traditionally dominates power. Everything has to be sped up. Sparring partners have to be faster. I need to be faster, Cameron said. I have to drop the weight properly. It will come down to having a very good diet and increasing training. The first couple of times I made cruiserweight [90.7kg], after coming down from 105kg, it was a lot harder to lose 15kg. Now I don't have to lose as much. I've experienced making the weight. The first couple of times I did it wrong. I've learnt from those experiences. Several factors must be carefully managed to ensure Cameron is properly conditioned for his fifth fight at cruiserweight. His eight-week training camp must be scripted perfectly. Any imbalances could leave him lacking power and stamina. Instead of adding strength, Cameron's training will consist of skipping, sharp bag work to form quick combinations and shuttle sparring. His diet will switch to six small meals per-day. To beat Danny Green you've got to out-box him like [Antonio] Tarver did. Green didn't get knocked out against Tarver, he quit. Tarver was too much for him. Once Shane out-boxes Green then he can play with him, Schuster said. Ad Feedback This content is protected It's all about preparation. If we don't do our homework it will be a struggle on the night. But when Shane puts his mind to something, he can achieve anything. There was a lot of negativity before he fought Barrett. All the stops are being pulled out. Manager Ken Reinsfield is attempting to hire top overseas sparring partners who have the speed to emulate Green. I've already sent some feelers out," Reinsfield said. Now, behind the scenes, Cameron's quest begins. Fairfax NZ - © Fair
Shane won't out-box him but he does have a good chance of knocking Green the **** out if its at the full cruiserweight limit.
What's Green's record like fighting guy's 195<? I heard it was **** like 0-2 2ko's Green is two small to bang with the big boy's and he wont last the distance. So overrated by you Aussie's, he's not even a technician. He will trade with Cameron and he will come out second best.

Cameron will be a ghost. He won't last 6. Even though Tarver was past it and fighting at a weight he had never fought at and Wlod was coming off a gift decision and suicide attempt they are both far better than Cameron. Not all Aussies rate Green highly mate.
Im actually looking forward to waching this fight. Im no green fan, but I would like to see what Cameron can do with him. An on point Cameron is a handfull for anyone (except David Tua).
