in 2010 Cameron started to come down to CW in order to fight Danny Green, if this wasnt going to happen why did Danny put him on his shows, time and time again trying to build the guy up to an audience here in Australia?

He had to drop his undies because if he didnt make 195LB the fight was off. The incentives was just to butter it up and make it look good but BJ says in his own words he was told 195LB or no fight. BJ Flores got way more credibility than Danny Green and if it was all legit why was Danny so quick to interject and now allow BJ to respond to reporters as to why he droped his undies ?

You always go on about my articles being 'biast', heres a challenge, show me one sentence from one article where they are. As mentioned prevoiusly, Flores did not HAVE to make 195, he took the carrot, more fool him. If you could see past your blind hate, you would realise why he CHOSE to do this.

I believe at one time Cameron was on the agenda for Green, but lacklustre performances from him capped off by Greens loss to Tarver caused things to change.

Also apparently Welliver is taking on Haumono. It looks like it will end up being a great night of boxing. If they also make good on their statement of having a few of these per year it will really lift the boxing profile in NZ and AUS.

 

Just re-reading through this, I wasn't aware that Troy Waters fought Mundine, and also pushed him in the ring after one of Mundines fights. Thanks for the heads up Ty.

Shane Cameron's cruiserweight chance disappeared when Antonio Tarver beat Danny Green. I think he's a better heavy than cruiser anyway, so it's probably a blessing in disguise.
