C'mon Leon matey. Lets call a spade a spade shall we. If 195 was not in the contract why did team Green feel the need to dangle $$$$$ to flores to get him down to 195 ? If I was a legit cruiser champ why would I waste my own money to do such a thing if I was a true blue Aussie battler warrior type like Greeny. Why didn't Greeny donate that extra $$$$$$ to charity rather than give it to Flores to drain down to 195 ? As you say he didn't have to as it wasn't in the contract.

Call a spade a spade matey. This nonsense incentive weight was just a scheme to get Flores as drained as possible and give Green an unfair advantage.

Green is still yet to beat a cruiserweight.

Like you said Francis, it was a scheme, and it worked. Nobody forced him to come in at 195. I still think it was a masterstroke. If he had wanted to, he could have ignored the extra money, and weighed in at 200. He chose not to. I'm honestly amazed how many times this has had to be explained.

And are you also saying that unless somebody weighs in right on the 200lb limit, they are not a Cruiserweight?

I don't count titles when an opponent is disadvantaged by a bull**** catchweight situation. Do you count Pacman's welterweight title when the champion Cotto was forced to come in under the limit ?

If it was in the contract that he HAD to come in at a specified weight, under the division limit, well, that wouldn't be right would it.

I'm not aware of the intricacies of the weights for Pacquiao-Cotto, but at the end of the day, both guys fought for a Welterweight title which they successfully weighed in for.

And of course that's a whole different situation to Green-Flores.

So you have no problem that the champion is forced to weigh in at 145 for a defence of his welterweight title ? Unbelieveable Leon.

But lets apply your logic in a different fashion Francis. According to your logic, Green still hasn't been beaten by a Cruiserweight, as Wlod weighed in at 199 and Tarver weighed in at 197 3/4. That makes sense right?

****...boxing just lost the last of its credability. No one has ever won or been beaten by anyone in any division ever.
