Shane comments on hand wraps today!

Shane says the "pad" was over the knuckles and describes it as plaster saying it becomes like a cast. He said the first signs that made him think he had Margarito was the body shots he threw and the way Margarito reacted as well as the fact that when they were in clinches he felt he was stronger. He also said that being such a big underdog was a big motivational factor and he basically wanted to destroy whoever he was fighting. He didn't say anything bad about Margarito. Says he's know him for awhile and everyone got along fine.

Shane didn't specifically say he cheated but yeah that is pretty incriminating. He was trying not to talk down on Margarito because Shane's a real nice guy ya know.

 

One has to wonder if it will be covered up like about everything else in boxing?

 

They asked him about it so he told the truth. He also told the truth that he cheated in one fight. Margarito most likely has done this for a while if he was doing it against a 37 yr old.

 

I'm not a Margarito fan but I hate to see this happen in boxing. Still I doubt anything will happen. Everything gets covered up.

 

I think Shane would know what it was since his trainer caught it. Shane wouldn't just make it up. Obviously he's not that kind of person. Shane's too nice a guy to flat-out call Margarito a cheater anyway.

 

Well they confiscated the stuff so if no one ever hears what the test results were, don't you think that is a bit suspicious?
