i think also people will buy pac-clottey because 1) there's pac and 2) we want to see some fights.. i know i sure as well wont be missing it and waiting another 2 months for a neil armstrong fight. and theres nothing like watching it live.

I'm going to cancel my Pac-Clottey now because this will be Arum's first sh*tty undercard since Pac became a star..:nut

DOES it really matter? Its the boxing event that matters.

ROFL, this is funny "i wont watch a march boxing match because theres another in may" or "underscard sucks" duh!

did they have official announcement yet? or just hearsay.......

I don't see how much of an impact it will have when Pac/Clottey is coming up next month and Mayweather/Mosley is still 3 months away. If they were fighting on the same day, you may be right; but under these circumstances I think they just want to put on a good show.

I hate it when fans get caught up in the politics between fighters and/or promoters.

It is like that East Coast vs Wet Coast rap sh!t. Why takes sides when you have nothing to gain from it personally?

not sure if you know this but
march and may are actually 2 different months.....its makes no difference who is on the card in may...march will be here next month and people are hungry for a fight......

So what are you saying? ... Fight fans are going to take a pass on Pac/Clottey in March because Mayweather/Mosley has a good undercard... sometime IN MAY??? :huh

    I don't follow.

Judging by the projected undercard from Top Rank on the Clottey-Pac fight, it appears they didn't get that memo

There's already talks about undercard fights when the main event isn't even sealed yet.

DLH isnt stacking the card to make the March fight suffer, he is doing so to sell as much as possible in order to create leverage for a Pac bout.

If Khan-Marquez is on the undercard, then Mayweather-Mosley will crush Pac/Clottey in terms of buy rates, giving Golden Boy the advantage when re-negotiating Floyd v Pac.

Khan-Marquez is tentatively scheduled for May 15th according to Dan Rafael. I know Golden Boy wanted that date so they could package the Khan fight with the Mayweather-Mosley replay, but Dan Goosen was also in play for that date with a possible Williams-Cintron fight.

So I'm assuming the date went to Goosen Tutor.
