    I think it's great we are getting two good undercards. I'm sure both will want to get more PPV buys but I don't think they are in direct competition. Most fans won't choose between the two.

    hahahahahah
    This is GBP. Why would they throw away Khan-Marquez, which could do decent PPV numbers on it's own especially in the UK, on an undercard for a fight that will sell itself? it' not like they are in direct competition with the Pac fight.

    Mosley has said he is getting 15million for this fight, which means Mayweather will be getting 25-30million. Let's say the PPV generates $75million (1.5million buys), live gate will be $10million. HBO will get half of the PPV ($38million). That leaves GBP with $48million.

    Do they stack the card with fighters they will have to pay a good purse, or do they do what they always do in their mega-fights and put on shitty undercards which won't cost them much allowing them to maximise their profits?

    You all know the answer to that.

    I dont think Amir Khan v Juan Manuel Marquez will be on the undercard when according to boxrec JMM is pencilled in too fight Michael Katsidis on 27/3/10 and FMJ v SM on 1/5/10 bit too close i think.

    That's great but with Floyd has yet to sign the contract, anything is possible so i keep my money on the Pac-Clottey fight.

    i agree. saul and amir will attract more manistream attention rather than say a glen johnson.

    i really hope GBP works hard to stack this card. it will be the biggest of the year except if pac chosses to fight the winner of mosley-mayweather. i hope this also challenges top rank to put a bit of effort in their card. they're basically relying on pac and a bit on the return of margarito, which does not make sense at all because margo will most likely fight a tomato can.

    unless pac loses, i dont think oscars stacked card would affect the negotiations. arum knows he holds the most decorated fighter in this era and he will most certainly attribute the extra buys to the undercard and not to floyds individual drawing power.

    :lol::lol:

    I hope the TS means that the PPV numbers of Mosley/Mayweather will overshadow those of Pac/Clottey.

    I was hazarding a guess..Mosley said he will be getting 15million, that's what he said signed for. Mayweather will have probably demanded no less than 60-40 and he will probably get a bigger percentage of the PPV pie being the bigger attraction. If Mosley is getting 15million, there is no way mayweather is getting less than 25million. Maybe that's why he hasn't signed. GBP may be trying to rob him of a few mill takng advantae of the desperation he now finds himself in for a big fight

    These guys probably have a Floyd Mayweather fanzine running these fantasy PPV numbers and discussing the business aspects on why Floyd vs X-fighter was shafted. :rofl

    They probably have the "spiels", or "excuses" for the top fighters on the back cover. :rofl:nut
