maybe struggled with hatton because it took him 10 rounds to ko him thats the only thing i can think of???
Im conflicted about this fight. On one hand I think damn shane had trouble with Cotto when he decided to box alittle, and was at points being outboxed. On the other hand Shane is good at finding a weakness and then going after it. I can really see the fight going one of two ways. One Shane will get to Floyds body and work him over and maybe set up a late tko, or Shane will get outboxed badly, and be reduced to looking for a sunday shot in the final rounds. One thing I did notice in the Margo fight however is that Shane has begun to throw himself off balance when he throws hard shots. Im kinda thinking that he will we need to shortern up his shots, and look to score instead of landing really big shots. For the first time in a long time I just dont have a strong feeling about who is going to win the fight. Right or Wrong I normally have a feeling about who will win. Im leaning towards Shane. Im just glad its going to finally happen, for me its been a long wait.
While in no way shape or form am I saying people Floyd spars with may have the power of Shane, but people forget he spars with people way bigger than him on the regular. I agree on your assessment and don't see Shane being a brawler for full 12 rounds and defeating Floyd. That's the thing that's so interesting. People keep thinking that pressuring Floyd is the way to beat him. It's actually counter-productive. IMO the way to beat Floyd is to make him come to you, and be a better counter-puncher than him which is not an east feat. That guy is a diehard Mayweather hater. As I stated above, Mayweather is used to taking hits from bigger opponents in his sparring. If Mosley believes being aggressive is the way to win, he will lose badly. I predict Mayweather by UD, and would not be surprised by a late round stoppage, but doubtful it happens. Mayweather has a lot to prove on this fight.
