He's been sparring McCarthy and Chisora. But why Chisora? How can that possibly prepare Bellew for Haye, apart from giving him experience of boxing a heavyweight?

If I was prepping for Haye, I'd maybe look at Cunningham (is he still active?) as a sparring partner. There aren't many that can compare to David's style at least at HW and CW but he surely could have done better than Chisora? It's as if Penfold just called up Tony's pal for sparring.

Haye's been sparring Jennings who is bigger stronger and probably far better at HW than Bellew.

Chisora is likely doing it for nothing as a favour. Bellew is treating this as a money grab, he and Coldwell won't invest the money to bring a guy like Cunningham over, they want to keep every penny of their lottery win that they can.

Haye is the one treating it as a money grab. Am no hearn fan but he said the other day "ask Haye would he give his purse up for the win and ask Bellew" .....think we all know what both would say.

This from a man who inherited " made " fighters in Haye, Groves and Frampton. Fighters who are what they are due to the hard work and skill of the likes of Storey and Booth.

In his first test he failed miserably and let his fighter down, didn't have a clue and fed him bum info.

    A glorified fitness trainer.

I disagree with this tbh. Haye may be in it for the money but his money fight is AJ. This however is Bellew's highest paying fight and it's his money fight. Penfold said at the press conference today that the difference between Haye and Bellew is that Tony fights because he loves it and Haye needs the money and doesn't want to fight.

Yet Bellew has stated many, many times in interviews that his sole motivation and sole desire in a fight is to provide for his family and go home to them safe at the end of the fight. He even said on Behind the Ropes that he wouldn't be boxing if it didn't pay like it did. So how is he boxing because he loves fighting?

Make no mistake this is more of a money fight for Bellew than Haye. Haye is angling for Joshua. Wembley PPV payday. That's his money fight, not this.

Getting comfortable with mauling. Not because he will be on the receiving end of Chisora-esque style from Haye, but because Bellew will be looking to either be well out of range or in close enough to avoid damage and trying to jolt Hayes arm from the socket.

Let's get it right both are in it for the money, no shame in that. It's just that Haye is in it to get money to be a playboy and Bellew is in it to get money to make his families life better.

Come off it Bensub. Bellew won a vacant title , defended it against no.75 in the world then started slating Haye ("Bermondsey *****" )to talk himself into the biggest payday.

Bellew was talking about Haye when he won the ebu title, fact.

Answer the question before who would trade the money for a win?? Bellew. Am not a huge fan of either. But would like the actual boxer to win not the so called celeb, so am rooting for Bellew.

Not fair and not true. They chose him, remember? If he is so awful why do top boxers go to him.

Haye's been sparring with Tarver too for this fight, actually kind of similar to Bellew with the exception of being southpaw.

Bellew knows he has very little chance of winning this fight... therefore he is doing it for a payday. As he repeatedly bangs on about, his number one priority is leaving that ring and going home to his family with a nice sum of money he can retire on. His main motivation is the money.

Haye is using Bellew as a stepping stone for bigger fights i.e Joshua which will make him more money.

So called celeb? David Haye has achieved far more in boxing than Tony Bellew could ever dream of, spending time on yachts or going to nightclubs doesn't change that... being a "family man" does not make Tony Bellew a better boxer.

According to boxrec (if it's correct),the only champion Bellend has ever beaten is McIntosh for the British title.Every other title he's won has been vacant & luckily for him,his opponent has been worse than him!

He has only taken this fight for the biggest payday of his career as the self proclaimed "best cruiserweight in the world" would get chinned by all the other CW champions plus a few others too so he figures he may as well get ko'd by Haye for a couple of million than get ko'd by the other CW champions or his mandatory (if he ever has the balls to fight any of them) for a few hundred thousand!!!
