Have to say Shane Mosely - the great fighter that he is - really needs to look in the mirror. Yes, he's beaten what many considered to be an indestructable welter weight champion in Margarito, and for that respect and Kudos to him.

What I'm not buying into is Mosely's blatant manipulation and cajoling of Floyd Mayweather to fight him for the reasons he would have us believe:

Yes he's a bona fida welter weight.
Yes he possesses the skill set, strength and abilty to make a future match-up a competitive fight.

But, given the pick and choose nature of boxing today - which Mosely too is clearly guilty of - do you really think that the above reasons gives him automatic right to be next in line to fight Floyd.

You see life's a ***** as far as karma is concerned; what goes around comes around. Most recently it would appear that Mosely left Joshua Clottey high and dry in a fight he reportedly signed up to. For all his macho talk, why did he not find it within himself to fight Paul Williams, the proclaimed most feared man in boxing? How about Berto? Moreover, wasn't Mosely offered to fight Floyd prior to him fighting Dela Hoya?

You see, whether Mosely or any of his cronies care to admit it, the biggest motivating factor for any fighter is: "who can I make the most money from if I fight him, whilst balancing this against the risks." It's clear to me that Mosely mulled over his options and reached the very sensible conclusion that his best pick would be to fight Floyd, rather than Clottey, rather than Williams........

I don't have a problem with that decision at all. Just stop hiding behind smoke screens and disparaging Floyd; it's not a crime to want to maximise your spoils.

And don't forget those you've conveniently side stepped along the way.

    Peace

How does loaded gloves help one from taken hellacious flush shots and not go down? The ability to take punishment, thats how he got the indestructable rep prior to facing Mosley.

He barely lost to Cotto and there is no shame in that. Cotto is a great champ who fights allcomers, unlike your cherrypicker.

yes, he should be next in the line to Floyd for the reasons that
Mosley is living ATG himself and a PROVEN best WW at the current time
by beating other best WW at the proper time.

After attacking PBF for choosing and beating a smaller fighter when in fact he begged Roach to fight a smaller Pac???? I think he shot himself in the foot with those comments.

Yeah maybe Shane could have fought Williams, but there was really no point in fighting Clottey who has lost every one of his big fights. Also Shane was offered a fight with Floyd before and turned it down, which is something that the likes of Bazooka will try and make sure people dont know. They will try and overplay floyd not saying lets fight when Shane said somehting as him being scared to fight the guy that he once offered a fight to. We have seen the very thing happen with cotto(fights not worth 7 million--Arum), and then Margo(I need Margo for my PPV,--Arum), both fighters were offered fights both guys didnt take the fight both guys later claimed they wanted to fight floyd. shane is right in line with those guys.

If no one remembers the "I have to go to the dentist, and floyd should fight Oscar" speech that Shane gave, its not hard to find. Maybe I will make a short video of it and put it on my avatar so whenever I post on the subject its already right there.

Now keep in mind that I do like floyd, but Shane Mosely is a guy that I have personally meet and has been my favorite fighter since that meeting aback in 1994. I recall trying to defend Shane back then when the Mayweather fight was offered.

I think and have always thought that Shane is the only fighter south of 160 that can beat floyd, but he did worm out of fighting him a few years back.

Of course he is jealous. A man Mosley age would have got over not fighting Mayweather by now.

I mean **** Mayweather got over it, why cant Mosley:rofl

You ask Mosley to fight Manny Pac right now at 140 and he would do it. His fans will claim it is because he wants to prove he the best out there. But what it really boils down to is the MONEY factor.

    You keep believing his bull****.
