I know i might be the minority in this one, but Mayweather in a close, competetive fight.

IMO, Mosley will never have the brains or mental stability within a fight to solve the Mayweather puzzle.

Floyd has many levels to his game, and he would find the one to rise to and stay at to overcome mosley IMO.

    Shane would still get out-boxed.

Mosley by TKO. Shane was at his absolute peak then, and the 2010 Floyd is now in decline.

Floyd would be alittle more defensive in this fight. But he still out thinks Shane.

What about the Shane that got outboxed by Vernon Forrest? I hope you're not implying that Shane would deal with Mayweather better than he did Forrest :think

I think some people are getting confused. Mayweather chose to stand in front of mosley because he knew he could. A prime mosley, in my opinion mayweather would adapt to his usual pop shotting style and win a well earned UD.

Shane, no matter what age he is, still has trouble with boxers. Forrest was just the first to show this and Shane was peak.

Mosley was very fast in 2000, this would've been a pick em, as far as standing in front of Mosley, yep you are right the speed and reflexed just aren't there anymore and PBF picked up on it.

I think floyd would win but would not fight the same fight. If he stood and traded like he did with shane the other night he might be able to win but it would be difficult and give mosley his best shot.

However shane movement was never the best, he always needed a split second to get his punches off. Mayweather would i see move slightly more, use the jab and straight rights before shane could get set, move then repeat. Mosley would get him on the ropes more and could get some good work off, but mayweather is comfortable there. I just can't see mosley doing enough quality work to get a decision and i expect mayweather will be more cautious, less likely to be caught with full blooded shots.

Mayweather 116-112 ish i would have thought

Shane at his peak only lost to 2 boxers, both were much bigger and stonger than him while winning titles in 3 divisions, he did beat ODLH twice, who may not be the best boxer but he could box.

I'm implying nothing if you look at how I laid out my thread and my poll. I asked a question. It's not an evil conspiracy, it's just a thread with a question and a poll.

    Floyd still out-boxes Mosley.

Also contrary to popular belief, Mayweather was the stronger of the two fighters and is a much better inside fighter than Mosley is. Mosley never had a solid jab at any point in his career as well.
